I'm pleased you've brought attention to Wellsworth and Suddery Railway Number Three. Number Three is by far my favourite obscure engine in the series. It's a pity they never appeared in the Railway Series books.

I know, I like them!

The S&M one does make me wonder if Neilson had a stock standard paint scheme that they'd use for individual purchases. I don't know any of this, but if it was that green, then maybe they just didn't bother with an actual scheme and only painted the lettering. Probably not, but it's just a guess.

Maybe, I think it is the s&m livery though

1:35 Neil he's ugly, kind, and proud! 😉 2:27 This is making me think of Masterofthelemons: 'Long Live The Iron Horse'. In the early years of the skarloey railway, when Rheneas encountered fierce, but dedicated horses named Buttercup and Spitefire.

Great edits! It's appropriate that the TK&E's livery would be red like Glynn in the CGI series.

And this same day, Character Gallery just made a video on Neil, with their take on 1 & 3. Some interesting takes of the early railways I've seen on DA include Kaxman with having the W&S extend and connect to Knapford after Ffarquhar's quarry was being established, and before abandoning Knapford harbor to extend to Tidmouth. Another AU by Miner Knight had seemed to have them extend to Kirk Ronan before seeking east. The company wasn't so much a flop, and while still having a tunnel collapse, actually reached Barrow. And while many other AUs put Whiff and Emily into the S&M, this one also added Hiro. I have wondered what a tank engine being converted with a tender, or vice versa, would have on their psyche. I believe of engines Tug mentioned in his timeline and basis videos, we'd have 3 canon examples of such: W&S #3, Bert and Albert. Though I wonder if the whole tank vs tender rivalry the old books did was more of a 1920s thing. Though I wonder if it could still apply to the '50s given Duck's debut, or perhaps Awdry hadn't quite settled yet on the early books being in the '20s, given Book 3's prologue with nationalization or the strike based after that of 1950. Back to #3, one other class with a 4w tender I took interest in would be the Wheatley Y10. One of the shortest tender locos I could find, and compared to other 0-4-0s of the show, no external cylinders and tender. Desiring to pair it with a tank no shorter than it (searching for ones of at least 42 feet), I settled on the Urie G16 (a 4-8-0, and I do like Southern). Crazy how different the first coffee pot was compared to Glynn.

2:40 I wonder what these green wagons would say if they were found abandoned and given a new life? Also, what would they be called?

That horse from the very old, re-steam railway: Cor bloody blimey! More heavy crap to pull!!! >.< I love the illustrations for S&M 1 and 3! And the second coffee pot looks like Gylnn.
