Thanks for reviving old memories.. I think in 2004 some auto magazine did 24 hour run on Karizma.. I bought the Karizma in 2005... I did many fast highway runs without worrying about the engine failure... Best run was Mumbai to Jaipur in 17.5 hours.. That engine was a gem of an engines... After 1.8lac kms i have retired that bike... I think now its a time to buy another reliable machine and hit the road...

Few things: 1: Congratulations to TVS, Apollo, Team Evo India, and all the riders. 2: I love your watch, Sirish. 3:NATRAX is near Indore. Indore has one of India's highest numbers of performance and luxury vehicles per capita. They must make some arrangements towards accommodating the common public, the way other cities have tracks, so people can have those 'track days' on their bikes or cars. A level of supervision and establishment of safety parameters will be welcomed, put a price on using the track or substitute tracks, and people will gladly pay for it. Mumbai has one drifting track/location as well. We don't. I believe the insurance of the vehicle might stand in the way, but there can be a way around it if thought of and designed deliberately. 4: I think I will buy the Apache rr310 now. I just doubt the aftersales service by TVS for this bike. 5: The reason why I and people like me connect to Evo India's content is because of the emphasis on the driving/riding experience of the vehicle, and not on the nonsense poetic storytelling and bogus cinematics like Powerdrift and Powerdrift copycats; and of course, the phrase "the thrill of driving." I don't know any petrolhead who will not relate to that phrase. Say it more, say it (tastefully) often, we all love it. Cheers guys!

I have mostly heard bad experiences when it comes to servicing RR310. The spare part availability was also not good and the spare prices were on the higher side. This was one year back. I am sure they must have made improvements. Such a shame since it is a really nice bike. It looks premium and gives the big bike feel. I went for the ADV 390 instead of RR310 because of this exact issue. So far best decision I have ever made. The 390 punch is just wow. Even in ADV form it pulls so hard.

Every engine burns some amount of oil. So its safe to top up oil, especially on an endurance run like this.

To be honest it's a BMW engine n not a TVS engine so again they should have gone for Apache rtr 200 4v which is purely Indian bike n then I would have agreed about the national pride of India
