NEW 4K HOME THEATER TOUR (2019) !!

In this video, I show you a little before and then a detailed tour of our home theater. This was a family effort and it came out better than I planned.

Beautiful room! Love how the curtains across the back of the room and matching panels give it a real cinema feel. The curtains at the entrance are a nice touch as well

Love the built in risers but do you need two rows of seats? Maybe save on the front row and invest in high quality seats on one row only with built in tables. Also if you could hide speakers you could add a snack bar. Very nice project and love how family chose posters and were involved in this project. Shows what you can achieve without blowing a big budget on this set up.

The seats are very high quality and they have tables that store in the armrest. I wish there was an option to hide the speakers. I would have done that if I could.

Very nice set up. Love it . Do you have speakers in the ceiling? The only thing I would add would be ceiling speakers. And maybe a one touch remote. But very good job if don't do anything. Thanks for the video. I will put in a like.

Looks Great!! We are getting ready to re do our theatre room and were planning to build risers. But after watching your video, I kind of like the built in chair idea. How are they working so far? High enough to see over everything in the front row?

Fun space. Hope it's enjoyed. Id like to see larger front screen, all equipment n gear hidden up front , like in a commercial theater. Back row of seats away from back wall. More side wall panel covering acoustic treatments smd bare walls.

Thanks for the feedback. We originally looked at a 120" but according to the experts you would need to be a minimum of 12 feet away from a 120" screen and we didn't have space.

@@bruce1160 yup yup. Understood. Short throw projection is your path to future upgrade in that space. Went to CES this year. For $2500 you get a gorgeous bright 4k upscaled hdr image with lots of pop, contrast, good black level, and great color! Al 150" image, from compact unit, placed few inches from wall (ceiling mountable). They'll come down in price this year too

Alexander Scott The distance I was talking about was not referencing the projectors distance from the screen but it was referencing where the audience sits. Larger screens require more space between to screen and the audience

@@bruce1160 Your accurate. Same thing in a real movie theatre. I won't buy tickets if nothing but the close seats are available. Farther back you sit better picture for your eyes.

AV standards for closest viewer is no closer than the width of the viewing image. As for the row spacing, just think of a real theater, enough reclining space, plus enough space for someone to still pass by in front of you

The screens come in all different sizes just make sure you can get far enough away from the screen with the space you have. There are guides all over the internet about how far back the minimum you need to be. The room is 192" x 165"

I know you went with seats with risers built in, but if you did build a riser what’s the issue putting the riser on carpet?

The concern was the possibility of damaging the carpet. Also, we plan on taking this all with us if/when we ever move and the riser chairs are easier to move then trying to move the riser or build a new one at the new house.

Love your setup. It's very similar to mine. I have the se seats. How did you get them automated with Alexa?

The only thing Alexa does is turn off the blue chair lights if they are left on after someone left. It turns the power off with a simple power outlet controller then turns to power back on. The chairs default to lights off when powered up

It was a lot of money to spend on untested chairs but it worked out. I read a lot of reviews and mostly positive. Most complaints were with 4seating customer support but like I said in the video we had some issues with one chair and they took care of it. They are super comfortable. I just have to wait now and see how they hold up.
