Man, I so wish NYC Subway was like this. Our equivalent of your 'Line 7' in Russia is our 7 train in NYC. It runs semi-modern subway cars in mostly very, very old and decrepit stations, except for the one at the end of the line, which is new.

But Moscow's Line 7 is exactly the same. They are still using the oldest trains that are in operation, the EZh series trains. They are 40 years old already. I know about your ancient R32s from 1960s which are even older, but at least they aren't being used anymore. They've already replaced about 70% of Line 7s trains with the newest ones, though. And check out the newer 2018 model of these "Moscow" trains. They are even cooler from the inside. Their model number is 81-765.2, search it on KZbin. Train stations are quite old as well, and some stations at the ends of the line are new, like the one in this video, Kotelniki. Still, almost none of them are ugly-looking, just what you'd expect from the Moscow Metro.

They had VVVF invertors on different trains before as well - like the 81-760 "Oka" train. In fact, the early Oka trains and the most recent ones in Baku, Azerbaijan have Hitachi motors installed. Those are the only Russian metro trains that have Japanese motors. And there is also one of the three 81-760a trains ever built at 8:38, you can hear those Hitachi motors and the VVVF invertor sound when it slows down and departs.

No. It is completely new trainset. We have upgraded old metro cars but they were produced for Budapest and Nizhny Novgorod. Moscow have them on Lyublinskaya line but they were recieved long ago and have completely different design.

RepublicOfBleachistan I know what Azur is. It's an unnecessarily complicated train with impractical lighting and bad overall quality. Some of them already started falling apart despite being made very recently. And you should compare these trains again. They look completely different both from the inside and outside. But, even if Moscow _is_ an Azur knockoff, then Azur itself (and every other new generation metro train, like R219 in NYC subway that is only a concept for now) knocks off the New Tube for London concept, a train that was designed way back in 2014.

Вот интересно,лондонскому автобусу 100 лет уже есть,и,несмотря на смену моделей,лондонский автобус как красным был,так красным и остался. И никому там даже в голову не приходило сменить традиционную окраску! А в России,особенно в Москве,ну просто мания какая то, с упрямством дебила любую традицию похерить. Поезда метро всегда были синего цвета,"голубые экспрессы",зато трамваи всегда были красно жёлтые,. Теперь же трамваи голубые,цвета" европейских общечеловеческих ценностей", а поезда метро вообще непонятной окраски- серое с какими то синими узорами и красной крышей.

I think a "prospect" just means a "boulevard" like in Paris? There are plenty of prospects in Moscow. It's the other word adjacent to "prospect" that is the actual name of the boulevard.

Боже,какой безобразный вагон.Эти пошлые дешовые сидения ни в какое сравнение с мягкими ,удобными диванчиками в старых поездах не идут. И зачем напротив дверей по центру салона поставили эти идиотские столбы? И для чего сделали переходы из вагона в вагон? Прямо вот делать нечего,пока едешь,бегать по всему поезду. Короче говоря - дерьмо вагоны.

Сидения удобные, имеют ортопедическую форму, спина не устает. Мягкие диванчики были в поездах серии Е, которые ещё в 60х выпускали. Эти поезда не ходят уже лет 15 как. Причем кожзам на них трескался постоянно, а сами сидения были промяты и пружины, помню, часто выпирали. Столбы убрали уже через пару месяцев эксплуатирования, так что теперь их уже не увидеть. Видео было снято, когда поезд только появился на линии. Ты бы об этом знал, если бы пользовался метро. А раз не пользуешься, то зря переживаешь. Переходы нужны, чтобы увеличить вместимость, плюс циркуляция воздуха в вагоне лучше гораздо. Короче говоря, твоё мнение -дерьмо. Новые вагоны офигенные.

Вы уже заебали, всё что не Ежи для вас это дерьмо, даже если Ежи эти хуже новых поездов во всех аспектах. И столбы демонтировали через месяц после запуска этих поездов, тоесть ещё в мае 2017-го. Ты не Москвич, я так понимаю? Тебе каждый москвич скажет, что они хотят, чтобы Ежей наконец-то не стало, потому что они - дерьмо, а не поезда.

@@one_step_sideways Ну зря вы так. Старые Ёжики - милые и мягкие диванчики тоже прелесть! Но вы правы, последние годы кожзам на них ставили совсем квёлый и поролоновый слой слишком тонкий - пружины проглядывали уже в новых диванчиках (может быть это была дизайнерская "фишка", типа и в новых поездах создать малость поношенный старый добрый советский стиль? ;-))). Но одна вещь в старых поездах была ГОРАЗДО ЛУЧШЕ, чем в новых - ТОРМОЗА!!! Сейчас от свиста тормозов каждый раз уши вянут и лицо корёжится, как от лимона. Почему бы разработчикам не сделать систему торможения, как в старых составах? Там тормоза визжали НАСТОЛЬКО РЕДКО, что ты, услышав их свист, всегда настораживался "Чо случилось? чо за фигня? давим кого-то?.." А теперь этот жуткий свист при каждом прибытии/отправлении поезда! Ужас!!!
