In Montana, half a sheet cake is $20.00 dollars. You can only get white mousse or chocolate mousse in the middle for half a sheet cake. We don't have Mud Cakes, Black Forest Cake, Mini Custard Filled Donuts, Mini Roll Platter, Buffalo Chicken Wings Platter, Chicken Street Taco Kit.
@ShopWithJill3 жыл бұрын
Hi Deana! We don't have half sheet cakes here in Australia, those would be so nice when you don't need a cake that feeds 48 people! Mud cakes are a speciality here and are super moist. Your local Costco might get the black forest cakes, donuts, mini rolls, chicken wings, and tacos at some point as we tend to get some things before the US stores do. It will just depend on what is in demand in your area. Thanks for watching! Cheers! Jill

It’s interesting to see what different Costco’s offer. Don’t forget they highlight what is popular regional. I live in the Chicagoland area and visited my sister in Texas. There were many different items in the bakery and take and go area.
@ShopWithJill3 жыл бұрын
Hi Dawn! That's so right! There are definitely differences in the products that Costco offers for each city its located and each country too. While Costco tries to keep some of the products similar, they do try and carry things that are popular for each of the areas they are located. Also, things like seasonal differences (it's winter here in Australia) also dictate what products they offer and often the things that are available here in the winter, show up in the US during their winter as well. Thanks for watching! Cheers! Jill

How do I buy their chocolate frosting with the chocolate they put on the top as well? I love it and would love to buy it or even order it online.
@ShopWithJill3 жыл бұрын
Hi! Depending on the country that you live in, you might be able to buy a bulk bucket of the icing from the bakery. I know that in the US and Canada this is an option and you get it directly from the bakery by asking for it, as it's not on the shelves. In Australia, they don't sell their icing yet, but sometimes there's some bulk baking ingredients, including fillings, and they can be found under the tables where the muffins, pastries, cookies, etc are (there are no prices, so you would have to ask at checkout or someone might know at the bakery). I hope that this helps! Thanks for watching! Cheers! Jill

@@ShopWithJill ..They actually still sell the take n' bake pizzas that they (used) to make in-store? 😮In the U.S., they stopped selling the take n' bakes a couple years ago, but they still sell the ones they bake at the Food Court..

Yes! They sell the take and bake ones and in the food court too!

@@ShopWithJill Very kewl.. As far as I know, they haven't started making them in the store since they stopped.... Does anyone live in a state where Costco has started selling the take n' bakes again? (Not the already cooked ones.. We all still have them..) ~~Thanks!! 🍕🥰

Food is more expensive in Australia. Ribs are 20.00 here. Korean Bulgogi is 20.00 in Oklahoma USA.

Hi Harpo! Yes, food is much more expensive in Australia and that's one of things that I miss about living in California, we could get way more for our money there. Thanks for watching! Cheers! Jill

Take into account the date of exchange. Right now $1 in Australia is equal to 71¢ in America. or $10 in Australia = $7.10 in America.

Hi! The Costco I shop at is located near Brisbane, Australia. Because our seasons are the opposite of the US (we're in fall now) we tend to get a lot of items first before they appear in your locals stores later this year. So you can look forward to seeing quite a few of those products closer to September. Thank you for watching! Cheers! Jill

@@ShopWithJill Ah gotcha, I hope so because, more specifically the take and bake pizza is one of my favorites and for some unknown reason it sadly disappeared during the beginning of Covid and it hasn't returned since, so I hope this returns, thank you!

One of the best things to do is put in a request with customer service. If more people request those pizza's, the more likely Costco is to bring it back, especially because it was an item that they used to have. Cheers! Jill

Love it! They've got a good range of products/food, too. As always, a pleasure to watch your videos, which have a calm, laid back style to them! I love that your daughter's trying to eat the food then and there, as I would be doing the same; they just wouldn't be able to get into my stomach fast enough! If only I had all the money in the world... I would be getting most, if not all, of that stuff.

Hi! I'm so glad you enjoyed my video and thank you for the lovely comment! I'm pretty sure my girls would have me buy one of everything if they had their way when we're at Costco! I heard that you might be able to buy some of the baking mixes that they use for the bakery items, so I'm going to check that out the next time I'm there. Imagine, freshly baked Costco cakes and cookies at home! Yum! Thanks for watching! Cheers! Jill
@Tia.H3 жыл бұрын
@@ShopWithJill Maybe, but it depends what brand they're using or if they're making it from scratch (to be fair, with the amount of batches they're making, they're probably using a mix). I haven't seen any Kirkland Signature baking mixes, but, at least the ones I have visited, they stock the Ghirardelli brand of brownie mix and Kodiak Cakes Power Cakes Flapjack and Waffle Mix. I shouldn't forget the EatPastry vegan cookie dough, which I absolutely love! The brands and stock may vary in different states, though, but I'm not sure about that. I like your children's thinking! 😁
@ShopWithJill3 жыл бұрын
@@Tia.H I've seen the EatPastry cookie and brownie dough and have always wanted to buy some, but I'm afraid we will all just eat it from the container! lol! From what I've heard, the mixes that the bakery uses are kept under the tables that have the baked goods on them. Also, I'm pretty sure you can get buckets of their cake icing directly from the bakery as well. I have seen a bunch of buckets and pallets under the tables, but there are never any prices listed because I think you need to speak to the bakery before buying them. It will be interesting to see what they say when I go this week. Cheers! Jill
@Tia.H3 жыл бұрын
@@ShopWithJill That's interesting! I've never thought to look underneath the tables before! I will check next time I'm in (once this lockdown is over). Thanks for that. I bought the fudge brownie cookie dough about a month ago and while you can eat it raw, it tastes so much better when cooked! It is somewhat rich, though; I've still got somewhere between 1/4 to 1/2 left. I put them in one of those heat-proof ceramic trays that you can put in the toaster oven and then cut the brownies into squares - I get about nine squares. You will only need a square each, as it's so rich! I am interested in trying the other cookie dough and comparing them. Another hint is to get one of those silicone bread pan things with six bars each from Kmart and cook them in that - that way, you can definitely portion control.
@ShopWithJill3 жыл бұрын
@@Tia.H That's such a good idea for individual portions! I'll have to try that! To stop them all from eating everything over a few days, I usually freeze some and bring out a bit at a time, or all I hear is "Can we have more?" EatPastry also has a birthday cake flavoured dough too....I know that it's available in the US and they said it's here too, but so far I haven't seen it in any of the stores I've been in. Cheer! Jill

Hi! Depending on how large your Costco is and what is in demand in your area, will determine what products it stocks. Some Costco, especially ones that serve a smaller area, may not have as large a selection as other, more popular ones. One thing that you can do is ask them about something that you would like to see in store and if enough people want the same thing, they will most likely look into getting it in store. Thanks for watching! Cheers! Jill
