@@rickfeng4466 A330Neo was developed in 21st century. It has the best wing aspect ratio in all wide body aircraft including 787, 777X and A350. Neo (new engine option) is a misnomer and causes it be underrated. A330Neo is much more than an engine upgrade from A330ceo.

It is possible IF some major airport cannot take any more airplane at a given time. And number of people travel soars so high that seat need to be booked in 2-3 weeks advance

Incredible plane and the best to fly in bar none. Much better than a 787 or A350. As a passenger's point of view, you cannot compare this premium aircraft to any small and uncomfortable twin jet. A380's size is also much better to counter ever-increasing turbulence.

I see the A380 back in production by December 2029. Either the -800 or the -900, with the proper on-time improvements. As you may know international traffic has been steadily recovering, mega hubs like LHR, FRA, DFW, LAX, JFK, MIA, HND, NRT, HKG, SYD and SIN will definitely need it. The hub & spoke model is in trend again and everybody will enjoy those benefits such model can bring.

If Airboss makes it possible with Rolls-Royce engines to cut down 20% efficiency and make it 3 to 4 m longer. I believe lotta airlines will go back to it. Qatar airways Emirates, Saudi, even turkey. Another countries easily will be 2 to 300 purchases minimum.

I think there is still interest in a new A380-800 model, this time with much more efficient engines like a derivative of the Rolls-Royce _UltraFan_ or a GE9X derivative. But why? Landing slot constraints. Many of the world's current airports can't be expanded much further, and the demands for CO2 emission reduction means fewer flights, not more flights.
