Danielle Smith isn't a leader. All Danielle Smith is there for is herself. First of all, when Danielle Smith was the the Wildrose party leader, she got defeated to Alison Redford and the Alberta PCs in 2012, and that's because she was campaigning on very unpopular things that Albertans didn't want, such as an Alberta Provincial Pension Plan, and an Alberta Provincial Police Force, and she had very bad candidates that she didn't keep in check. As the Wildrose party leader, Danielle said that she opposed MLAs crossing the floor to join other political parties, and she said that the Alberta PCs were very bad. Then, under the persuasion of longtime carbon tax supporter, Preston Manning, Danielle Smith then crossed the floor to join Jim Prentice's Alberta PC party, and then Danielle Smith said that the Alberta PCs were very good. In 2015, Danielle Smith was defeated in her own riding to another Conservative candidate. A former Alberta PC cabinet minister, who was there when Danielle Smith and a bunch of her Wildrose MLAs crossed the floor to join Jim Prentice's Alberta PC party, said that Danielle Smith was after a cabinet position in Jim Prentice's Alberta PC party. As the premier of Alberta, Danielle Smith Smith has angered constituents, contradicted herself, told so many lies, flip flopped, backtracked, has done many very costly debacles, and broke conflicts of interest and ethics rules. Danielle Smith has done more very costlier debacles than Alison Redford did, for starters. Blew billions of dollars on various voter bribery schemes, including making Albertans pay $1.2 billion for the new hockey arena for Calgary, which Danielle Smith originally opposed, when she was the Wildrose party leader, and a radio talk show, because she said it didn't make any economic sense, blew around $2 billion on the gas tax holiday vote buying, and so on. Blew $80 million on Turkish Tylenol, which couldn't be used. Blew money on propaganda ads of various types. Blew $20 billion on the R-Star debacle. Blew around $100 million on the DynaLife debacle, which the UCP caused. Blew $253,000 and $2 million on Preston Manning, to produce a covid report that is junk. Hired many more staff for their MLAs, at a great cost to Albertans, including Danielle Smith's staff of 34. Created the largest provincial cabinet in Alberta's history, with 34 cabinet ministers, and associate ministers. Blew money on a pointless excursion to Dubai. Is blowing money on carbon sequestration, which Danielle Smith originally opposed, because she said it was very costly and unproven technology. Has more coal mining companies suing the UCP for $10.8 billion, for breaking more contract agreements. Is blowing money on an office in Ottawa, which will have no practical purpose. Is blowing $2 million and added costs on someone to produce another pandemic management report for Alberta. Is blowing money on someone to produce a study to see how feasible a high speed rail line for Alberta would be. Is planning on using the Heritage Savings Trust Fund money for risky business projects that wouldn't be able to survive on their own. Is blowing $8.6 billion on school funding, most of which will be charter and private schools. Danielle Smith has created many bad bills that undermine democracy, such as Bill 1, Bill 8, Bill 10, Bill 11, Bill 18, Bill 20, Bill 21, and so on. Danielle Smith broke conflicts of interest and ethics rules, including getting luxury sky box hockey tickets from the person who gave the UCP the $80 million Turkish Tylenol, which couldn't be used. Danielle Smith created Bill 8, which changes the gift gift amounts MLAs in Alberta can receive, which opens the door for MLAs to accept bribes, and this bill also prevents the Alberta Ethics Commissioner from investigating MLAs who are involved with unethical conduct, before a provincial election in Alberta, which makes it so that the MLAs can run in the provincial elections in Alberta. Danielle Smith and the UCP were negligent in different ways, including with the tailings pond leaks in northern Alberta, which First Nations communities are now suing the UCP and the AER for, as well as with the daycares in Alberta, where hundreds of children got very sick, after getting E-Coli. Former Conservative politicians in Alberta have said that they don't trust Danielle Smith and the UCP, because they are so dishonest. They are correct.

How can Smith be in it for herself ? You make it sound like she’s the only one profiting from oil and gas . When Notley was premiere , she raised corporate taxes . While Fort Mac burned , she sent for South African firefighters . They were sent back home, soon after they arrived . Under Nenshie our property taxes sky rocketed! He spent millions on public art instead of affordable housing .He is an arrogant narcissist . A female was beaten , he didn’t say a word . All because she was female and a different religion ….
