New airline refund rules in effect

Huge deal! They have never ever given refunds. Absolutely ridiculous. We had our trip cancelled because of COVID and have credits we will never use because the prices are so much higher directly through the airline

All this does is save you a phone call. It doesn't compensate me for my 1 hour drive to the airport plus 2 hour prior arrival to the airport plus 6 hour delay plus 1 hour drive returning home. 10 hours of my day wasted and paying for gas and toll just to end up back in my living room and not my destination and all I get is my money back? That's a big loss for the traveler to me. How about just still take me to my destination and refund me 50% of my ticket in cash.

Yes, don't be greedy, self-absorbed, self-centered like those companies. You bought a ticket (a contracted purchase)...it got canceled. You get your money back. That's it.
