I used to have 2 littermate brother sister mini schnauzers they passed 2.5 years ago at almost 15 years. We have a mini schnauzer and mini poodle now who are 2.5 yrs old. They are my support dogs ❤❤❤

Vacations are important. Since my husband left me I decided life’s to short so I packed up my car and left Kansas City Missouri (home) and drove to Canada. Definitely recommend going to the Sleeping Giant in Ontario

I would definitely never do laundry again! Lol. There is just something about putting it away. I’m not sure why 😂 When we go on vacation, I do the same thing! Clean, do windows, mop, laundry,,,, I love coming home to a clean house!! I even put clean sheets on our bed before we leave. I love going on vacation, but I love coming home to my home! My hubby takes care of the outside before we leave, so all we need to do is unpack and go to the grocery store. I sound lazy lololol!! I hope you all have a great vacation!! ❤❤ It’s going to be weird this year, our lab Bella passed away the day after Christmas. I would normally bathe her and groom her before leaving. My mom and my father in law always took care of her for us. I miss my girl 🐾💔

I have a border collie-mix dog named Lacey that I inherited from my daughter before she went to medical school. My daughter just graduated in May and she got another border collie puppy in January. We obviously love border collies 😄❤️

Loved that first outfit w/the pretty white top that had the palm trees on it & those jeans (love a distressed jean) were great on you! Actually all of the jeans looked good on you - you have nice legs sister!! And kudos to you for going outside of your comfort zone & keeping the different colored bottoms. it was awesome to see you in those! It's so amazing how stepping out of our usual "unform" can pump up our confidence & just give us a little boost. 😻🔅The tawny colored & green pair of jeans were my fave! And I always like to have a good pair of white jeans for the summer! The dress was great - I just love green! Those sandals were pretty & looked really well on your feet - hope they are comfortable ( I think they were from your package?) I knew you were going to like that purse as soon as you took it out of the box! lol! I could just tell it was your color & not too big not too small. The only things that weren't my favorite were some of the tops & I see you did send a couple of them back. I have a full bust like you & I've always tended to stay away from horizontal stripes/lines as I think they can make us look wider than we are. I prefer a pretty delicate or unique pattern or solid colors for my tops. A nice solid top dressed up w/jewelry is subtly elegant & put together, imo. I also always keep a black short sleeve & tank & a white short sleeve & tank on hand all yr round as I find they are just nice basics to have. throw a little cardi on top & your set! Also, even tho I know crew necks are so popular these days - again w/big boobs, lol, I always prefer a wider neck like a V neck or a boat neck or something that gives me some space in my neck area & hey a little cleavage is nice sometimes too! Lol!! So happy for you to have some new things for your new body! You look great & most importantly, it seems like you feel great too! Wear your new clothes in good health my friend! We have 11 pillows on our bed lol - 2 "sleep" pillows each (so, 4), 2 big square shams, 2 big oblong shams, and 3 small decorative pillows. My husband teases me about it. At nighttime, all of the decorative pillows and shams come off the bed and only the 4 sleep pillows remain. It is a pain to be sure, but I love the way it looks so I keep them (and I make the bed, so ...). :) And, crazy enough, I actually like doing laundry - definitely prefer it over cleaning the bathrooms. We have our washer and dryer on the second floor near our bedrooms, so it's much easier to do it because everything's on the same floor. I love the smell of clean clothes, and I like folding and putting away. I'm weird lol. :P

If your cushions are opened on seams, there is a two sided tape that you can use to iron the seams closed. You would find it in the fabric/sewing department.

Feel ur pain literally! I'm recovering from double kidney infection/ bladder/UTI! Make sure u alternate ibuprofen and Tylenol (as long as ur not limited fxn renals, or liver), as ur doc prolly recommended, around the clock (set alarms!) I used to do preops, and it halls been proven that method works as well or maybe better than opiods for post op! It's so nice to not have opioid induced constipation if u can avoid it! I'm having to write it down to keep up... missed my ibuprofen dose last night and was huuurtinggg! Good luck!

Cleaning the WHOLE house is a must for me before a trip! It drives my husband nuts (he would be ok leaving dishes in the sink), but coming back to a dirty house is incredibly stressful for me! I have a Boston Terrier and I am also allergic to her. Every time I touch her I break out in hives, but like you said, it is worth it because she is so loving and wonderful.

Amanda, I am with you. Before I go on vacation, the house gets cleaned, laundry is done and depending on how long is the trip, I'll have a meal prepped for the return. It's a helpful tip because at that point you're exhausted and you may arrive hungry. A meal prepped plus a clean home is a nice welcome back. Your game of "would you rather" was a bit tricky for me because I love doing laundry and I honestly don't mind cleaning bathrooms but I'd say I rather not have to clean the bathroom. Throw pillows on the bed is a yes for me.Congrats on the 25lb weight loss. I can see you look happier. I'm on a wellness, weight loss, fitness journey. It feels good so far. I've never tried stitch fix but the concept is genius. Having someone style and do the shopping for you is a game changer. I order most of my clothes online which isnt often but when I do everything may not look and fit to my liking 😂 Have a great trip. It's officially summer this week. I sooo clean my house before a trip! Get all the washing done , clean everywhere, and change all the beds. Its so great to get into a lovely clean house, 9times out of 10 its a camping trip, and on the morning of the last day, we all get up take the tent down, and jump in the car, to jump in the shower in a nice clean bathroom and a nice clean bed, is the best feeling 🤗 Then its straight in with the first load of laundry, and straight on with dinner 👍🏼 I also love to wish i was going away and it gives me motivation to do the same deep clean even though im not 😂 id love to see an after dark clean, but either would be great ♥️

Lovely video! We went camping with our children since they were babies and stayed about 5 days. We had truck campers, vans, pop up campers, and eventually went to tents with air mattresses. The tents allowed us to go to a lake way in Maine,we are from New Hampshire, but still it was about a 5 to 6 hour drive. Then we boated out to get to a tucked away area that had a couple sites in coves. Very private and the water was awesome. We would go fishing, swimming and walking in the woods. Moose, dear, bears, loons with babies…so much wildlife!! Around the older teen years is when it peetered out with the kids. But hubby and I still went until I couldn’t anymore due to health. Our dog, Daisy Mae, passed away at the end of April and was 16 years 8 months. She was a terrier mix and the most fun dog ever!! Hubby and I miss her a lot. Don’t have any plans now to get another. Have a wonderful trip back home!! Take care and be safe ❤

Raised 7 children and have had a TON of laundry done throughout the years. Never once have a stripped laundry or felt the need to. Not sure why folks do it. HOWEVER, I do not use fabric softeners at all and I am sure that is what causes build up on clothing and especially plush items like blankets. My blankets have always been fluffy. I use very "clean" laundry detergents. Mostly Norwex or Meliora so there is no heaviness on my clothing. My washer is always spotless too. I launder and add vinegar to my rinse cycle. I dont get static either. We actually have our grands visiting for the summer. They hale from your neck of the woods :-) I will enjoy them for a few more weeks before school starts for them again and then we will be camping for a few weeks. Love summer

I also LOVE working from home. Our house meanders and my office is in a part of our guest bedroom and is three walls of windows, so it is so nice to watch the birds, squirrels, groundhogs and turkeys out the window. We had two dogs, up until about a month ago. Our girl, Jade, was a boxer and pitbull mix and our boy, Carson, is a pitbull (Staffordshire terrier). She was just shy of her 14th birthday when she passed and he is turning 12. I love me some senior dogs!! Emma is soo sweet and I love how she interacts with the cats 🙂

I had a border collie when I was a child. He was such a great first dog and they really are great family dogs! After he passed, we got an Australian shepherd, and she's just great! After my husband and I got married, we got a corgi. Love the herding breeds 😊

I love a clean house when I leave too. Sure makes coming back from vacay less disappointing. We have a black Lab and a Chiweenie dog. We just love our puppers. Emma is beautiful! 💗

Hi Amanda! Emma is a sweetheart. Love how she was such a good girl for her bath. We have a rough collie named Maggie she looks just like Lassie. Maggie’s birthday is December 22/2012. Maggie hates water so much she won’t go outside for bathroom break in the rain unless you join her and wait in the rain as well. Love coming home to a clean house after vacation, so cleaning is a must for us. Love the recipes you share, I’ve got hypothyroidism also.

You look great Amanda. I like the clothes to. I don’t like folding clothes and putting away. My husband and I ride motorcycles and were going to Tennessee for a weekend. You deserve a vacation, you’re always doing something. Everything is so beautiful. You are a wonderful wife and mother. Love your channel. I want an updated house tour, no doubt.

Stripping laundry is amazing! I do it in our bathtub with the couch cushions, I use washing soda, laundry detergent, oxi clean and borax but feel as though laundry sanitzer and scent boosters are optional as i do put it in the washer afterwards!

I can’t believe Emma’s age! I have only been watching you guys for a couple years but just within the last year really actually watching them on schedule! I would have thought she was maybe 4 or 5! She is clearly very well taken care of seeing as how she acts so young and looks so good! 💕 I have a 5.5 year old pit mix! She is actually about 10 different breeds but she is mainly staffordshire and boxer! Dogs are the best. I’d still have one even if I was allergic too, proud of you! 🫶🏻 More Emma content!!! 🥰

As a kid I went to camp starting for a day, then went for 7 weeks. Both my parents worked, so camp was important. My daughter had no interest in camp, she was very introverted. However, we lived in the country with lots of animals a pool, the river etc. LOVE dogs!!!! I have a 2.5 year old Great Pyrenees and a 10.5 yr old Havapoo. Both are girls. 💜💜💜💜

Amanda you look great and I love all of the new clothes and the handbag you got from Stitch Fit! The brighter colors look great on you. Instead of fabric softner, run white vinegar. It cleans and softens your clothing. 😊
