I'm in southern California and the minimum pay is $24. I usually do the 3 hr shifts and I get $74 minimum. It's never been lower than that. I don't do it as often cause to me it's sometimes not worth it. A lot of times it takes an hour to get to your route, cause of traffic. They definitely need to pay us more.

This is isn’t my experience, but that’s probably due to location. I’m not in California but in New Mexico and they guarantee $18 an hour. That’s way past minimum wage here and for a part time gig it’s really not bad. In fact, I just got hired to do it full time and I got the job because of Flex. I’m getting paid a few dollars more now, so I like to think of Flex as training because I really have no problem with it and it’s very much worth it. It’s just you and the road, getting to listen to music and do a fairly easy job. I drive for fun as it is, may as well get paid for it.

I do Flex here in Milwaukee I usually see 200 blocks available, and the avg pay for a 3 1/2 block is $75 - $89. For a 4 hour block you usually see $95 - $115. One thing I did notice was you can NOW cash out after each block like Uber! Not sure when that went “Live” but it’s a great benefit 💰💰💰

Not a huge fan of Flex. Closest warehouse for region they stuck me in is 25 miles. And then so far, they've taken me even more north. So tack on another 15-30 miles. The handful of blocks I've done, the minimum mileage I've done is ~85. But at this point I expect to have to drive closer to 120. I'm going to try and do this to get Level 2 just to see if I can get a closer region. If not, will only do it if the pay is worth it. Minimum where I'm at is $23.50 an hour, I think. With 100 miles each time, I'm still making money. But between that and time invested in delivering, I feel like I can do a lot better on Spark or even DD/UE. Particularly since I'll be driving less. But if I'm able to switch regions, am hoping the mileage will be better. Won't have to drive 30 miles to a warehouse at least.

I think it depends on the location but where I’m at it’s completely worth it, and I get paid around $20/hr on average, and on some days depending on how bad they need drivers you can get paid up to $25/hr. Maybe that’s because I drive as it is so I think of it as getting paid to do menial tasks as I do what I like to do already.

Door dash hourly shows people are stupid. They would rather take little guarantees as opposed to hustling for more $$$
