I would get a trunk and an outfit. I have the trunk and love it. As a business you are right you need to make what you sell. I know when I went looking for a AG doll to make into Snow White, I was surprised how many dolls of color there was and literally I had only one choice and I was glad I purchased her she is so sweet. Just love that one. As far as demographics what dolls in the end don't sell. I do want them (AG) to stay around for a while.

I will be definitely getting 4 out other 5. Not 129. I love love the Josefina mold more than any other. I do love love the painted eye lashes very much. I love the eye brows so much. 127 and 125 are my top favorites. Thank you for your video.

126 look’s different enough from the existing dolls to me. There’s literally 2 blonde JLY dolls right now besides her so I don’t think adding another one is that unnecessary.

I totally agree with you that I had much higher hopes for the truly me release. I would love a red head boy! I am definitely getting number 127. I knew I would from the leak. I wish we got a Claudie mold. 127 should have been a Claudie mold. I enjoy how honest your reviews are!

Yes I feel the same, already got the Josephine and original face mould so wasn't on the market to get another one. I do love 127 but I have a lot of dark hair dolls so not sure if I will get any this time.

I agree with you 100% about 125. But, she will sell like a crazy. She’s a great replacement for Kira. And as someone who previously worked at a store, girls LOVED Kira. They continued to ask for her long after she was retired. They will also love 126. I have already bought 127 and will probably get 128. 😊

You have mentioned a couple of times that here is no Asian boy. I just want to make sure you know #75 is still available. He doesn’t have a newer replacement, though, and he is on sale and almost gone. I’m glad I ordered him a few weeks ago.

I never expected much from this release for me, as I'm really, really particular about which TMs I bring into my collection. Nonetheless, I had my fingers crossed for more boy dolls or dark-skinned Joss mold or dark-skinned Kaya mold or literally anything new with the Claudie mold. Sad to not see it, but happy for my wallet. However, when 127 leaked, I knew I had to have her. I don't have Evette (my mum, who is 67, has her!), I don't have 80 or 109, and 127 is PERFECT for me. I already have a name and a story picked out for her. The rest of the dolls are fine, but not particularly interesting to me. 128 is the closest, but she looks exactly like Lila or Evette with a different wig. I do like the beret set, and I'll probably eventually pick up the outfit with the pink jacket for my Makena, who I think would be the best fit for it in my collection. Thanks for sharing your thoughts! I really enjoyed hearing them.

As someone who is an American girl fan I do have to say the plaid dress with the Peter Pan collar is cute personally I make all my dolls clothes just because I'm more into goth / emo fashion and I don't think American girl would ever even dip their toes into alternative fashion the closest they to it ever came was with the red vinyl jumper in '90s

I’m a boy mom and my younger son has two dolls, TM 74 and TM 75. I have Logan and a TM 74 because I was informed that my son will not be giving me his 74 when he’s older, lol. I would LOVE a redhaired boy, for them to keep the boy Jess mold, add a new Asian boy, add a brown haired boy that’s not Logan, add a boy Josefina mold… basically I just want more boys! ❤️ So I felt that comment in my bones, lol. I also would love more Jess molds in the TM line and a blond Joss mold in the TM line. Of these, I’d say 128 is my favorite. I’m not a fan of the #5 vinyl on girls and 125 has that. But I do like 128 mostly because of the freckle pattern!

Personally love the Josefina mold, but I agree it’s over used. Also I feel like these eyes/skin/hair color combos have been done before. It’s been 20+ years and AG has yet to release a doll that looks like me 😂

Probably not for me this go around. I could be interested in 128 if I can get her hair to style like McKenna. I do like the outfits. As far as adding new dolls, I might get Isabelle (not too sure about Nikki) and might do another CYO doll. Still looking for a reasonably priced used #49 and Melody.

I agree with you on everything … #127 is gorgeous, and i’ll probably get her at some point .. I have #80, and her complexion looks deeper brown, I suspect #127 is regular brown…. I was hoping for a medium, or dark skin classic mold so I don’t have to get a “create your own/CYO”.. The new platform loafers Will join my collection . I think it might be too soon for Claudie to join the Truly Me’s .

I bought and returned the first one because the wig was SUPER thin. I got a newer color haired doll instead and the hair is MUCH better on the newer dolls. I’m 100% buying the rainbow hair doll. Also unpopular opinion, I love the eyelashes.😭

I adore 127. I personally feel like she’s somewhat similar to the Evette illustration that we never got. I don’t have Evette because I was worried about her hair, but 127 looks stunning and as a very new adult collector with only three new dolls (one from my childhood), she’d be a great addition.

As they get rid of some I am glad they replace them with dolls that the girls shopping can enjoy. I don't really like the edgy haircuts and styles for children's dolls and think they went a bit wild with the last few so I am happy to see the more natural hair colors and textures. I don't think the boys sell well and they don't have enough clothing to really make them fun (imo). All my boy doll outfits have had to come from other vendors, mostly etsy. 127 looks like a darker Evette and I agree that most do look very similar. I would've been thrilled about the brunette with freckles but I just bought Lila and while the hair is different, she is also very similar. Agreed on the decal eyes; hard pass on those.

I was really hoping for a new boy doll. One with a medium skin tone as my first choice. But a freckled red-head would be awesome! We should all write some emails! I would also love some mix and match gender-neutral clothes for my boy dolls. I'm not in love with any of the newTMs, but that's ok. That frees me up to get some of Claudie's things.

Would have loved TM126 with a bob wig like Kit Kittredge. I missed out on the brunette one with the short hair last time and I think that doll was unique enough where this one seems "common." Maybe even a little mediocre or overdone. I can appreciate the smart, well thought honesty and tact that you have when weighing in on these dolls. For the money consumers spend on luxury dolls from a stand-alone boutique of sorts we deserve more TM 127s or boy dolls to meet the masses of diverse consumers who have the money to challenge companies. She is such a stunningly beautiful combination. The outfit definitely an improvement from those "Looney Tunes Pow Right in the Kisser" dresses...which is NOT the name by any means, but those outfits with the eyes, symbols and whatever were a little crazy. 😅

Like, that is so absurd that I kinda respect it 🤣 I really think I'm the only person on this planet that doesn't hate those t-shirt dresses. But the word choice on a couple of them is a little questionable 🤨 A short haircut on 126 woulda made her more interesting to me for sure. 127 is gonna be the best seller out of this bunch, and she's for sure my favorite. I would love a red headed boy doll even strawberry blond one. As for Claudie, I don't care for her mold its a typical Mattel mold . Identifiable easily when I assist with UFDC appraisal booth. That is a classic Mattel mold. So not for me. So sorry just ask a professional that identifies dolls (UFDC certified) and you would be able to spot the similarities dead on.
