You don’t need the old radio box installed for the buttons to work. I have just installed an android 13 to my wife’s fiesta. As long as all the cables are connected correctly to the new stereo it should be fine. Once installed you might have to change the canbus setting to your car for the front panel buttons to work and then change the swc setting to learn then teach the steering wheel buttons. Took a bit of time figuring it all out but works fine now. No cable cutting too.

Hi, I consider to buy this T10 for my Ford Fiesta 2017. I mentioned the original car radio has settings like side mirror flipping in and out. Enable or disable inside lights. That kind of things After installation with T10 does this stil work? How about cd player? Cd player is less important but car settings to me it can be a deal breaker. Then i was wondering does your steering wheel and panel control still works? Left- right-up-down- ok- info buttons. The original Mic for handsfree calling a be used or must be replaced? Awesome video! i've installed a similar model to my fiesta! everything works except the steering wheel button... its connected via the canbus module... some of the buttons are working but in the wrong order for example: the previous song button is muting the sound do you know a solution? i am yet to try the pink cable tho Thanks!

Yes, you need to remove it in order to connect the new wires, after you can put it back in 👍🏾💯

I’m having an issue where whenever my handbrake is down the whole screen is black and it only comes back on once my handbrake is up. Even with the engine off if my handbrake is down it’ll be a black screen with a camera and an ‘X’. Do you know anything that could help?

Is that when you’re reversing? If so the screen always goes straight to camera mods when you engage the reverse gear however you can deactivate it within settings

@@CARLISONIT It comes in while reversing and while i’m driving normally. It seems that when my handbrake sensor goes off it goes onto the same screen as the reverse camera. Which setting turns it off and i’ll try that. Thanks for the quick reply. It’s also changed my mileage to kms instead of miles

Hi Carl ,love the video mate ,but my attempt wasn't successful as yours ,as the unit wasn't compatible with the car ,we got to the stage of getting the screen live and then I was looking for the SWC control cable ,but nowhere to be found

Can anybody please tell me if the original radio with the bigger red colored display from a 2011 model fits on my 2012 fiesta? I currently have the original radio with the tiny display but i would really like to have a slightly bigger screen. The aftermarket screens look to big and dont fit with the overal design in my opinion. I already called some dealerships but they don’t even have a clear answer as they have never replaced a radio before 🤷‍♂️
