First off. My grandma was a dancer in the 30s too. Amazing. That table that is too small on the scary wall, You might be able to off set the size with some kind of hanging plants on either side of the table making that mini table look more like an altar. Witchy vibe.

I'm sorry but I started laughing out loud at the fact your family really did have an Aunt Flo!! That photograph of her is STUNNING, what a gorgeous lady/ photograph/ piece of family history! Great choices! When hanging art you need to decide what "plays well together" and all of those pieces do that. The only thing I would switch or reverse is the moody outdoor art. The one on top is weightier, having a more dark to light ratio. Put the one with more light/fog with the "V" notch in the mountains on top, the one with more dark "weight" on the bottom. The jaggedness of the mountains and trees repeats the uneven vertical linearity of the music pieces, and the map of New York repeats the linearity of the the rest. I love all those pieces together! What to do next? You mentioned changing the rug in the last video, if I remember correctly. Yes, Get a new rug, that pulls some of the color from the sofa into it. It doesn't have to have a lot of that color. Even a small amount will pop because of the strong statement of the sofa. Maybe replace the furry throws with some new ones. It's the time of the year when Pottery Barn and other retailers will be bringing in the furry throws, so perfect time of the year to replace the old ones.

foggy trees club 🌲🌲🌲🌫🌫🌫 though mine represent an ontarian window, not midwestern. (who knows where the original photo comes from tho?) i keep my giant tree tapestry beside my desk so i feel calm while working 😊 look at you wave your hand and the chaos just subsides and gives in to coziness🤭 i love how the lines on the tv cabinet lead up towards the art above and on both sides. i love black and white too, the lines, shapes, boldness, delicateness. i like drawing so it reminds me of that. but, my room is vibrant lol cant wait to see where fiona goes, what a beautiful picture! ✨ i think you should do your apt in order of what needs to be done for function, maybe some kitchen decor next or the front door?! whatever makes sense and would make a big impact to you! :)

You have a great eye for balancing shapes for wall art. If you try a gallery wall for the other one, or just want to have another trick for spacing things on walls, you can lay down your art on some paper, trace the shape, cut it out, and tape those to the wall. Then you can either nail the art right over and remove the paper after, or mark where a nail hole would be with a pencil. (I used brown paper grocery bags, which can be pretty large if you cut the sides and lay them flat). It was nice to be able to play and work out the exact spacing before making a commitment.

i know she has a black floral wallpaper for the bedroom, facing the same direction as the wall behind the couch. maybe a navy would look nice with a geometric or different scale of floral for a little contrast, if steph is still considering wallpaper. or maybe a tapestry?🤭idk why im always suggesting tapestries lol or maybe another deep colour to compliment the couch - green, red, orange?
