Same uniform will never bring in UNITY in any cadre, be it senior or junior. Armies all over the world are raised on historical victories and each has its own recognition in the form of their uniform. This can never be standardized and made same for all.

Instead of focusing on urself I urge every officers to deal with how to tackle Suicide, fratricides amongst the armed forces after all these things matters the most. Enforcement of rules and regulations in ur own perception and studies doesn't cares. Tradition of Britishers must be revived, they must not be treated as a servants of Officers.

These changes are obviously recommended by non combatants and people without any regimental history and honor and traditions. The political interference in army traditions is alarming. Breaking the tradition will cost adversely on moral and sence of belonging in army.

In my opinion, following changes in Army uniform should be made - 1. De-colonization of all british made regiments and convert them into numbered regiments. 2. Common uniform for all ranks. 3. Common cap badge for peaked cap only. 4. Abolishment of Urdu rank titles. 5. Abolishment of Sahayak System. 6. Light green shirt with dark green pant. 7. Peaked cap and blazer uniform for JCO and ORs. 8. Ending the usage of words like Ram Ram sahab or sahab ji etc.

Modi ji dheere dheere ye angrej fauj ko bhartiya fauj bana rhe hain...but bahot slow kar rhe hain... buddy (formaly known as sevadar or sahayak) system to root se khtam krna chaiye. They get servent allowance servant quarters fir b jawano ko dogs ghumane and unke bacho ka palne ke liye buddy chaiye...ye bhi band ho jaye to 90 prcnt other ranks apna self respect and self dignity regain kar sakenge.
