2-3$ extra at retail is enough to have them in thicker cardboard, non gatefold. Joe Harley doesn’t want to disappoint the elite MMJ buyers, so classics are housed in subpar covers…not a smart brand building move.

Agreed. Unless the originals were gatefold, there's no need for them- just include an insert of session photos. The OJC design should be used for all sleeves.

Tone poets are $65 classics are $35 at my local record store. The vinyl is the exact same quality. $30 more for a fancy jacket that takes up more space. I stopped buying tone poets after they jacked the price $20.

The "Original Source" Deutsche Grammophon are all from the re-releases of the first set. MIKE! go home and put on that really colourful pink and yellow one "Le Sacre Du Printemps" and turn it up! It's going to sound mighty good on those fancy speakers of yours. It's incredible.

Hey Mike. the Deutsche Grammophon represses are not unlimited. Recording to DGG they are pressed 2000. Just to let you know. Cheers from germany

Agreed.here in the UK he's known for his song "it must be love" subsequently covered by Madness. The track "crying laughing loving lying " featured towards the end of the film The Holdovers. I bought is album of the same name on the back of hearing that track and it is phenomenonal.
