What i want to know is how the dual protagonist will work. Its probably the same as AC syndicate or spider-man 2 but i think it'd be cool if you chose at the start and had that characters quests then start a new game to play as the other character and do their story line with different quests.

I think just Ubisoft wants it in really good condition before they say anything given Valhalla major bug fest for almost a year after launch, and to that never happen again. They didnt say much at their latest Investor call more than it was on track at the moment. And given the franchise popularity, I dont think they are expecting people needing much marketing for this game tbh. Perhaps against their inpatience for new information perhaps ;)

Great vid mate, sounds like a lot Ubisoft have looked at GoT for Red with a unique twist. Sounds like they might do the same gameplay as in Syndicate where you can alternate character for different playstyles. Not hating but I would like to what makes Red unique compared to these games to be honest. Looking forward with interest though

Also REALLY hyped for basebuilding, always one of my favorite parts in every game that allows it. Just hope it's not toooo grindy, I don't mind having to do a bit of work to collect resources but I don't wanna run around for hours just to upgrade one building

Don't mind the big map, problem is, having good content spread so thin across said map. Valhalla was SO bad for this, it could have been a 10th of the size and been far better. Even Witcher 3 isn't that good when it comes to do good content in a large map, that was mostly just caches and monster nests.

I’m sure we will have a large variety of weapons for different play styles… hope we get a bunch of new moves n finishers cuz I don’t want to see any recycling of previous AC game moves n finishers since that would be cheap… cuz Ubisoft has the foundation created in previous games so they can modify n edit it to make it look different n cool in AC red

Idk if this makes me a psychopath but I'm really glad that they're keeping the gore from Valhalla and even expanding upon it. Was pretty disappointed at the lack of even blood in Mirage. Feel like blood and gore really elevates this feeling of being a badass assassin / warrior. Imagine if we had gore in AC3, that would have turned that game into a slasher movie lol

They better make my man Hanzo look good. The Assassins Creed series has not had good depictions of almost any historical figures. They are always paradies of the real world counterparts. The best depictions were up to AC3. All other historical figures thereafter were more comic relief than anything, so I really hope that they do these figures justice and make them as serious as the samurai were during the Sengoku Jidai. Edit: So insanely happy about the Hideout mechanic. I'm going to spend HOURS making my Dojo

I really hope we are not playing the afro-american samurai, because he was just a servant in real life, not a real samurai... Thus it seems higly disrespectful to put a black protagonist in a Japanese Feudal Era video game, like why not make a video game about Slavery in North America and put a Japanese protagonist on there... Nowadays everything is to not offend a certain type of people, this is why we may have a black protagonist and a woman protagonist, with this being said I will never buy the game. I love this. It looks like a perfect balance between Valhalla and the originals. I’m here for it BUT why tf is the MC black. I’m not trying to be racist but we are playing in Japan so shouldn’t we be able to play as a Japanese samurai or ninja. It makes the most sense. At least let us change the appearance cause being emerged in the world with real common sense is more entertaining than just throwing in something that doesn’t make sense

A Black Samurai as a lead character will destroy this games appeal as a title. This is WOKE BS, and 99.9999999% of all Samurai were Japanese. The odds of a black protagonist in a game based in historic Japan is minuscule without purposefully forcing it. Its not rocket science.
