This season has been, without doubt, the biggest update/refresh the game has ever had! It feels unbelievably fun playing right now. There are people everywhere, valuable treasure everywhere, virtually no down time (other than quick trips to the outpost), everything’s been buffed or revamped. It’s just amazing to see this after the really bland seasons and scarcely populated seas we’ve been having these last few years. But now I’ve got people all over the place rolling up tryna give lil ol’ me an iron enema. It’s so much more fun! Sea of Thieves is in a DAMN good place right now!

@@zebdawson3687 only complaint I have is I rarely find solos at my skill level. I’ve ran into 1 solo but he had the gold ghost curse so definitely wasn’t winning that or even putting up a fight lol Besides the server issues and the clunkiness of combat that is.

The best way to do these is to do them with an emissary quest. Start a session with dive to a skelly fleet (or an Ashen Winds if you don’t have it yet), then do two shipwrecks from legend of the veil. Then do the emissary quest once you reach grade five and vote for a regular voyage as well because you should get the same islands, meaning you can get extra loot.

With the shipwrecks, try to get one west of shipwreck bay or west of kraken watchtower. You can go back and forth between the two every time!

Anyone else getting absolutely hosed by the anchor bug where you can’t interact with it at all, dying doesn’t help, blunderbombs don’t help, the only fix is to close game and rejoin (which is a fantastic solution in the middle of a fight and you just tried anchor turning 🙄)? I’ve had it happen SO many times since S11 dropped (absolute god-tier season otherwise though, muh gah!), I just went back to my old ways and quit using my anchor altogether, but hoped this HUGE update fixed it. Nah, sir.

The 80 plus gig update yesterday maked the game unplayable for me on xbox. Cant use mouse and keyboard AGAIN! So it could be worse brother

@@zxx3762 unplayable as in, it’s not downloaded on your internal hard drive? Because, with this new update, the game won’t play on regular external drives anymore, but it warns you about that with a pop-up. I play on Series X, and always ran the game on my old xbone external, but after the update it flagged the game and told me it needs to be transferred to internal or it won’t work (this goes for all Series X games though, tbf).

@@zebdawson3687 nope, I had no trouble downloading the update and launching the game. Just when ingame mouse and keyboard inputs are bugged right now. You can only turn like 180° and your camera is all shakey and jank.

theyre placeholder names you can turn in on in settings to hide ship name players name e.t.c. content creators do it so people dont get harased i guess. but thing with this game even if you choose not to hide your names or anything the game most of the time stops me from even seeing what my own ship is called and theres a few that have this issue
