@@jjohnjawaharola has regen. Its good enough. If you put settings to high you can come to stop in signals. Athers version wont regen with this new tech but will have more reduction in speed compared to ola. I think ather is redirecting current to motor field coils and reversing rmf to reduce speed.

Regen helps in maintaining good range but for sudden/emergency brake we need friction braking

The same feature is there in Hero Xoom 110. If you release the throttle then the brakes automatically engages. Infact if you are going downhill and if you release throttle the scooter wont accelerate but rather there is som kind of brakes automatically applied.

@@Spontango65 usse scooter stop nahi hota hai. It doesn't replace physical brakes at all. Throttle bahot hard hai reverse twist karna. Ola me bahot natural feel hai aur strong hai. Don't use brakes at all.

This is not new braking system, ola had regen braking since the first day! Even the normal varient of ola the ola s1 had 95 kmph speed leave alone the deadly 117 of ola s1 pro! S1 Pro Gen 1 had 2.9 0-40 the gen 2 has 2.6 s
