New Balance's Best Running Shoe: SC Elite V4

This is a master class on how to update a running shoe.
There are a few things I would recommend changing for sure but I have to say, this is a refreshing shoe. I was skeptic at first when I first put it on but I have been fully converted into a fan of this shoe!

Craig… I am facing a proper dilemma. The SC Elite is definitely worthy of the next race. But then Rocket X2 has my heart. And then Hoka go and release the Cielo X1… what’s a man to do. Secondly, I sincerely appreciate your kind words and feedback on the review

Walking round the house in a pair right now , deciding to go with them or the newly released endorphin pro 4's . The saucony would be the safe option as i loved the Pro 3. But these look & feel great and jyst wanna get out 4 a run in them 😂

I definitely need to try this shoe. I bought the v3 and ran a half in it. It wasn't bad but I found myself wishing I had run the half in my ASICs. But this shoe looks built different

Everybody from Brazilian youtubers are judging this shoes as the worst of all racers shoes, because it is havier than the others and the carbon plate is more thinner comparing to the v3. They consider this shoe less responsive cause the material is very soft and the carbon plate more thinner. Do you agree?

Definitely worth reaching out to them. It’s an amazing show for sure. The price makes it less accessible to everyone but the tech in the shoe makes it got into that price range like all other super shoes

Your videos are some of the best on here Aubrey, you make them very interesting and do things a bit different! I wasn't interested in this shoe until I watched your video but now I think that this could be the shoe that the Vaporfly Next% 3 always wanted to be, I'll get more mileage out of my Rocket X2's for now and use the AF3's for longer races. However, I may be tempted later this year...😀😂

We all have different anatomies and running style but I’m more comfortable with small/short drops. I say that because I also run in Altra shoes which are zero drops. I find the SC Elites very comfortable because they have that much stack even at the forefoot

You said the midsole is 100% peba but Isn't the orange part called fuellcell? Or is the fuellcell foam itself made from peba foam?

Fuelcell is just their way of differentiating their shoes. Fuelcell is for racing, freshfoam is for recovery/easy days/training. The name doesn't really have anything to do with the type of foam. Just the use case.

My last two marathons, Copenhagen and Malaga (2023) have been in the OG alphaflys. I got a couple of pairs of those and i like any vaporfly for 10-42k aswell. I have several other carbon shoes from other brands i like to train in but Nike for racing. Adios pro 2 and Prime X strung are other faves🤓
