i love your reviews of dolls because they’re really funny and i love knowing your opinions on them, but i first got introduced into your channel from the “doll news” videos! your doll news videos are also my main consistent updates on them because leaks often get taken down on instagram, hahah ^^ also, these dolls are really giving me a lot of hope! it looks like companies are starting to realize that dolls, and especially higher quality dolls, sell really well and i think we’re finally starting to leave the dark era of molded tops and low quality dolls behind! :D

Cowboy Ken was up for preorder at target but it sold out. Roller skating Barbie and Ken were on preorder at walmart. Everything sold out in hours and people are mad because scalpers are selling them now for hundreds on eBay.

8:15 Theses dolls are beautiful; have two dresses and pretty hair AS WELL as animals friends and cute accessories. I like them 🥰 The mixies look adorable. Cute girls who are aliens, fairies or monsters is a good concept. You can really be creative with this line. A dolphin doll, a deer doll, an angel, a phoenix etc. That's fun!

As someone who mainly collects Shadow High and Rainbow High currently, my thoughts on Shadow High Series 3 is complicated. I am only missing 6 dolls from SH currently and I literally have 3 sets of Storm Twins because they are comfort characters/dolls for me (2 out of box, 1 mint in box) that made me truly fall in love with the line. I loved how Shadow High used to be more goth, alternative, and edgier than Rainbow High. I also loved the greyscale and the muted or darker color schemes that Shadow High would use. My personal favorite dolls in the line are Veronica, Naomi, Demi, Heather, and Ainsley. For Series 3, while Scarlet Rose and Rosie Redwood look goregeous as base dolls to me, the clothing styles don't look as goth or alternative as they used to and some of the color schemes feel too bright for Shadow High without enough edge or balance to them (Dolls like Neon Shadow and Demi work for me, for example, because the black used in the characters' color schemes provides good contrast to the bright colors that dominate their base dolls and allows the color scheme to work better and look more interesting.). I also have a whole video that I made on my channel talking about how SH Series 3 isn't goth or alternative enough compared to the rest of the line. I am excited for them though, and Scarlet Rose is easily my favorite SH Series 3 doll so far!🖤💜

The only one that is exclusive to Mattel Creations is the weird Barbie. The others will be available through other retailers later this year I believe in September. The rollerblade barbie and Ken retail at 25.00 US and the pink jumpsuit Barbie is also 25.00 US , western Ken is 50.00 and mojo dojo Ken is 75.00 US

I don't mind the shaddow high dolls but sadly I no longer buy them. Why? Well because they no longer have a second outfit YET they cost the same as the ones that did. Since they started doing that, I refused to grow my collection any further and now focus on other lines. I'd be totally on board with only one outfit, but only if they adjusted the pricing to match. But really, in my opinion only, most (not all) of the 'new' dolls are simply extensions of stuff that's been done before. Maybe im getting old 😂, having had most of the original lines, but I think it's time toy manufacturers stopped re inventing previous themes and came up with something truly unique. I can't wait for the next wave of movie Barbies! My Alice doll with the little house just came in today and she is beautifully packaged. I was actually surprised at how gorgeous the box was. She was definitely pricy, but I love Alice in Wonderland and I never see a lot of Alice merchandise so she was worth it.

As someone who got the $100 Alice doll, I can say that OBJECTIVELY she ain't worth that money, not even half to be honest. It's really about how much you're willing to pay for her as a person or an Alice doll collector, which is actually the case for almost all collector dolls. There were some LOL Tweens dolls that were announced~ the swappable head ones.

Just a heads up... There are actually two Mickey ily dolls from the second wave. Both of them come with two outfits and they are two completely different dolls and completely different outfit sets.
