Amazing work, so much is getting done. The wheel loader, although requiring maintenance, has really come in handy. Simon I agree with you regarding the old wood chandelier as it is a charming character piece that could use some new life again. Have you considered putting some of the big rocks you dug up around the Christmas tree to keep it from blowing over? Bram has certainly saved you a fortune in repair skills with everything he has fixed, he’s worth his weight in gold both in personality and skill. Happy Holidays to you all.

It's amazing how easily you go from making kitchen cabinets to repairing the hydraulic system of a tractor, then moving on to repairing the electrical system of what will be the new apartments. It is worth it because we need some income, without the apartments we will run out of money pretty quickly (thats why we started Patreon haha). The apartments will be completely separated from our place and courtyard so we will always have our privacy. Neighbors are very chill, we live in the Dordogne, this region lives of tourism. Looks like an “after and/or during work bathroom, would be a great idea? One of the out buildings or barn would work. That way you come in the house clean. An outdoor attached shower, for warm weather, usual sink, shower and toilet. I always make a separate large deep sink area for washing things. Beside the thing washing sink, I build a 6 inch high, 3/4 meter deep, 1 meter (or larger) wide shower pan to wash off larger things. I mount a bath nozzle with a side, hand held shower sprayer, about a meter above the shower pan. Now I can fill 5 gallon buckets easily and spray things off, to drain.

Gezellig; het is weer vrijdag; met een filmpje van jullie. Een tijdje geleden kwam ik er achter dat het Bram en Simon is en niet Bram en Sijmen. Hahaha! Wat een gave dakbalken heeft deze oude schuur! Hopelijk zijn die niet rot en kan deze balkenstructuur behouden worden? Heerlijk om te slopen; zo'n muurtje eruit schoppen, lijkt me zó lekker om te doen! ;-) Veel succes met het opruimen en starten met opbouwen. Maar eerst; gezellige kerstdagen samen. Genieten van een paar klus-vrije dagen hoop ik voor jullie. Nox haar eerste kerst; mooie kerst gewenst! Tot volgende week!

Hee! Leuk dat je er elke week weer bent. Haha ja Bram en Simon it is:) De balken zijn grotendeels gelukkig heel erg goed. ze gebruikten in die tijd iets beter hout dan dat ze nu gebruiken gelukkig. Jij ook een hele fijne kerst en tot volgende week!

@vangaze Zeker; vroeger was alles beter, hahaha! Maar het houtwerk voor de constructie van de huizen was toendertijd heel solide inderdaad. Ik ben 10 jaar vrijwilliger op een botter geweest; de houten schepen van meer dan 100 jaar oud zijn goed bestand tegen de tand des tijds. Super dat de dakbalken bij jullie ook zo goed zijn. Ook eikenhout misschien? Dat zijn houten schepen ook meestal. Dank; ik mag kerst vieren met mijn familie; ik kijk ernaar uit. Tot volgende week.

Nox is beautiful, and thanks for sharing who watches her. I didn't ask but was really thinking about it. Bram that wall seems to have come down easier than I expected.
