I'm extremely excited to share my first Persona cover! I bought Persona 5 Royal for Switch last summer on a whim during the summer sale and have put a lot of time into it since. To be exact, I just reached 130 hours a few days ago, so clearly I'm enjoying the game! I'm still in the last palace and haven't quite finished it yet, but I can easily say this game is now in my top 10 favorite games of all time! The characters, the story, the music... there's just so much I love about it!
Huge thank you to Ian and Sable for joining me on this arrangement! I knew I wanted it to be a bit lighter than the original with an almost-acoustic feel, hence the chill cajon and shaker/tambourine instead of heavier drum set. The glockenspiel and vibraphone worked perfectly for a lighter feel in some of the solo parts too. Every time this song plays in the game it puts a smile on my face, so I hope you like this lighter take on it!

Super late to watch this, sorry! Loved this cover and hearing all three of you creating these chill vibes! I love the section with the descending seventh chords, hearing how the bass goes down. And hearing the flute and vibes transition the melody for each other brings me such perfect relaxing summer vibes, perfect for the VGMCon theme! I haven't played Persona, but I know there are loads of fans out there, so it's exciting to see you're one of them now :)
