I absolutely think rdruid needs some changes. It takes way too many globals to get rejuvs out. Maybe give a cd that drops five rejuvs or every 30 seconds wild growth applies rejuv. Farseer shaman needs a change to healing rain. Maybe double duration and keep cd. Just too much maintenance.

I would make changes to resto druids. I feel like resto druids should rely on hot ticks vs outright healing. I also feel like the hero talents for resto are meh. Regrowth is nice, but relying on it is meh. Personally, I would love to see photosynthesis and germination baseline and then more unique talents that replace them. I know that that sounds a bit strong but when I think about how resto druids should heal naturally, those talents feel like they should naturally be part of the healing style. I would also make changes to the hero-talents. Both are really meh ihmo. I have never enjoyed kitty weaving and wild stalker just doesn't appeal to me However, I think that wildstalker may have a more engaging gameplay situation vs keeper of the grove because summoning a bunch of trees doesn't really feel heroic. I love the trees... but I don't LOVE the trees. I wish that at least of of the hero talents put an emphasis on your output and your ability vs relying on passive mechanics. I would also maybe change the way mastery works. It's good on paper but it takes a lot of setup and is only really optimized for 5 man content. It also doesn't really help with resto druid weakness which is spike damage. This wouldn't be an issue but everything is spike damage these days. Even the current patch that was going to "smooth" damage intake is nothing but spike damage. Although, if the healing profile was adjusted then maybe its current form would be ok.

The range issues with prevoker have been really hard to deal with on some of these dungeons for me. There are so many fights that encourage a large spread if you are not super careful and its just a limitation that doesnt make sense.

Luckily they've made us mobile, it does suck sometimes but on those fights I make sure to save my movement cooldowns for jumping around the arena to get people. Dream Flight is helpful there too.

JustDiscipline puts out some really helpful content and helps people create flexible builds that work for them! You don’t have to feel locked in to what the guides say. But yeah they need more prep time and not brain dead group.

I feel like the removal of flourish in m+ really hit druids hard. Considering the amount of ramp required for a lot of those encounters, it feels really unsatisfying to heal people with regrowth for the most part.

Resto druid just straight up needs a rework, resto druid has been working with the same core abilities and playstyle for literally 15 years. Pretty sure they are the spec that has gone the longest by far without a proper full revamp. They are running into the same issue that Shadow Priest and Aff Lock ran into that Blizzard hates DOTs and HOTs.

I'm playing disc in keys now b/c holy is honestly just stressful to play even in 10s, the amount of work you have to put in as holy feels really unfair for the output you get, we easily have enough raw HPS for the content but with our lacking aoe we simply don't have the globals to keep everyone alive in a lot of situations in ways that every other healer can. I really think we could benefit from: chastise stun node turning it into 2target/3target, circle of healing baseline and talent node replaced with a PoH enhancer node I don't think either of these are too much to ask for personally.

Hpal here, I don't care which build I play. I am comfortable with both. however, I don't know it was intended but almost 12 hours later blessed assurance still is nerfed into 40% extra damage instead of 120% damage in PVE content ( It was meant to PVP). I believe nothing will change and we will be nerfed again for the 11th in a row. so frustrating.

People are 100% sleeping on MW in M+. Our hps is really strong, we do not have to worry about mana ever, we have a ton of utility, 1:15 cd external, crazy amounts of defensives, our damage is on the higher end of healers, and our casted healing feels way stronger than it did in DF, so if we get forced out of melee we can actually still keep the group up.

I think MW is god tier for hard carrying bad tanks and dps through 10s and maybe even 12s but once in a good group feels like a resto shaman is just way better for utility and emergency response, disc is way better for raw group HPS, and DPS really just doesn't matter from healers at the moment because unlike xpacs like SL where a healer could literally do competitive DPS this xpac healer dps is just completely and totally irrelevant tbh, and any pull a MW saves 2+1 thunder charges for lightning a disc priest's PI alone just absolutely obliterates that dps contribution, not to mention the disc itself being on the upper end of dps contribution anyways. Blizzard's rework of healing in M+ definitely means they'll need to do a LOT of work next season. Only way they are peeling rshaman out of the meta slot at this point is if they take a crowbar to rshaman's knees which would be the worst way they could handle things.

Doesnt really matter, MW are really good at doing 10's but the only thing that matters in higher keys is reducing damage taken and MW have nothing for that but coccoon, which shields as much as single power word shield from a disc priest during rapture. Sham and disc have multiple ways to mitigate party dam and thats why they are meta.

@@Brewnelley Wild I had no idea a disc priest power word shield hits for 6mil. Also not accounting Chi-cocoon from chi-ji as a group wide damage reduction paired with a powerful heal. Yes DR is important, but there's plenty of other DR in the game. If this was the only important thing then Disc would have been meta since S2 of DF.

@ MadKingLemon Resto shaman is really about cycling CDs. They are all on pretty short cool down. Use them. Use multiple if things go south. If you are trying to only heal with chain heal and healing surge, you're going to have a bad time. There are several videos out there explaining the playstyle.

I wish content creators to be more honest regards Rdruid situation, Blizz is doing such a terrible job with such an amazing class. While I know the class is perfect capable, having HoTs that almost not heal and are there just multiplying regrowth via mastery is one of the worst iteration this class ever had. I was done with my Rdruid around 9s, because it makes no sense to me to be using so many globals just to do what others healers do in one GCD. Feels terrible, unrewarding. Not to mention the lack of CDs on M+, since it makes no sense to pick the nerfed Flourish and the meme Tranq (that is a 3 min CD so weak that people don't even spent 1 talent point to get it)...

I'm still waiting for holy priest changes.... Their single target healing is strong, and I like that, but thats all they got going for them. I understand that if they buffed their AoE spells then that might make them monsters and would have to nerf single target, which would destroy them in m+, so thats not an option. So I'm hoping that they just invent more choice nodes, kinda like Lightweaver/Lightwell. Let me choose single target for dungeon and AoE for raid. Maybe like, choose Trail of Light, OR, 40% PoH healing or something like that. Maybe to start they buff some of the numbers on existing talents tho, like sanctify buffing PoH by 30-40% instead of 15%, and Benediction going to 40% instead of 12% to actually make use of the 6% healing amp on Renew targets. Theres synergies there but the numbers are piss poor that it doesnt matter. As for m+ idk what they could do to help holy out. The singletarget and spot healing is strong and a good start, but they dont have anything for heavy group damage that happens quickly. Healing 3 people per cast of Heal/Flash Heal is nice for general damage going out but Piety isnt available enough for boss things. Maybe if they just really buffed PoM that would help with both raid and m+ but /shrug idk

When I first started playing Hpal in season 2 of DF I learned off of the old AC and I absolutely loved the play style. When it got reworked in season 3 it was pretty pointless to use AC, and I was a little disappointed, but it was whatever ya know, I stuck with it. Now that it is back I am so stoked. I’ve been having so much fun with Lightsmith AC, reminds me of when I first picked up the spec.

I gotta say people not playing preservation is crazy, range limitations really aren’t that hard to play around, and the amount of Hps AND dps they pump is insane. Plus their utility is phenomenal. I think augmentation is overrated, we need less aug and more preservation!

MW monk changes are amazing especially for raids - the biggest and best change is being able to play on range. Only psychopaths want to play in melee in raids (no wonder people don't play monk, because healing in melee gameplay just sucks).

As a 17 year Hpal, I really enjoy Light smith and using AC.. AC for me is very rarely used. Second, any hpal using virtue in raid if failing their team or simply not pressing into mythic raid, use faith and give your other mana heavy healers blessing of winter, no need to use virtue in raid. This "nerf" did nothing to hpals to be honest, unless you are dumb and are running virtue in raid. I'm using LS on both raid and keys but tbh harold should still be used in keys imo for most players.

This^ LS is currently also better than Herald due to the insane group survivability it provides with tempered in battle and holy bulwark, does more dps and doesn't have any mana issues unless you are casting a lot and using holy shock on CD with high haste, even them you can return to AC playstyle for a while and conserve mana for long periods of time. Herald is currently out of the question. The only weakness LS has its if you misuse your CDs and run out of juice. Even then, tempered in battle can save you when you or a dps should have died otherwise.

As a player that has been a holy priest since BC, I need more utilities than "raw heals", that is why it is low in all aspects. Constantly devs are creating mythic content in raids or dungeons that need some utilities for doing that content and holy priest or discipline priest cannot provide. I only want to have the basic utilities to do any key and its challenges. At least discipline priests have more utilities than holy.

'It's great until you're fighting half the bosses in season 1 where you literally can't touch the boss and heal the group. Grim Batol especially is a dungeon that makes you hate your life because of various boss tactics require you to move away from the bosses *while groupwide damage is going out*, so there's jack shit you can do about it except hoping that everyone survives it and you can heal them up after you can hit the boss again. The massive issue is that as a melee healer, you get both melee tactics and healer tactics, so if those happen at a particularly wrong time you either ignore it and hope it doesn't kill anyone or you do the mechanic and hope your entire group doesn't die to random chip damage while you're doing the mechanic and can't heal anyone, either way it promotes a bad playstyle.

I wouldn't invest on Holy Paladin right now. Devs are watching it under a microscope and any sigth of good performance means it will be touched (nerfed) in the next hotfix (nerfing the least used build to punish mana, for example) . It's a red flag spec right now. Main it under your own risk.

Well as a long-time Mistweaver and Fistweaver when the patch dropped I didn't move out of Dorn and the PvP area for about an hour at least. Read abilities, test, read again, change things up, test. All the tourist Mw's are loving it because there's now a no brainer DPS/HPS crusher with Jade Lightning and they're all dabbling in it. Here's the difference, pre patch about 10% of Mw's were tuned into the double knockback Jade Lightning pvp talent. No Mw knocked me off the cliff at Lumbermill because none of them were using it and it must have been a teaching and shocker moment and by the end of the BG? NOT coming anywhere near you because they dare not plus Transcendence transfer up. No idea how many I forced off to fall and die but it was a lot. Only in video have I seen another Mw use this to position a player and knock him back into a corner and then drop RoP to trap him and while he bounces off wall and spell is helpless and can be burned down. That's what we lost for a Sith Lord style "unlimited power and mad cackle moment" on cooldown, boring, even if my HK's and killing blows have gone vertical on a graph.

@@fabiusque4266 Its not resto druid with heavy ramp builds do insane hps after the buffs it just does no damage, because of how gcd bloated it is, but most healer damage is irrelevant maybe only disc and mw can really do something super meaningful. Paladins and holy priest are way way worse now, when i play pally i feel like my abilities barely fill 1/4 of people health bars meanwhile regrowth hits for like half of someone's hp with good setup even more.

I‘m quite worried about forced to change to LS for being meta. LS feels kind of „un-pally“ and very passive due to just blast dmg with cs and judge in AC… the actual healing is done passively and „smart“ which isn’t that smart. As an evoker it has to be the lack of utility. I feel like I can sustain even something like 1.5m hps. But it's on the utility side we lacking. Disc got absorbs, fortitude and barrier to deal with very high damage spikes, shammies got SL.. evoker got raw hps.. which can be not enough for some bosses on higher keys.

Disc as VW doesnt use absorbs as their main stay. As Oracle you maybe have a point but only a little bit

@@MrDemonidze I don't really like how evokers heal i feel like the group never feels safe with them. They have hps on theory, but on practice it just feels off like i don't know maybe filling small gaps is a bit annoying considering everyone have to be topped up at every point and its really hard to recover if something goes wrong and you have to fuck up your build up echoes to spot heal someone. Range limitation aren't really justified either. Like if you look archon just for some base orientation evokers are doing really low average hps.

@@MrDemonidze Barrier is not useful half the time in keys. I have seen people actively run out of barrier not knowing what it is, and if you have ranged, they arent moving into the barrier.. Ive had to life grip ranged in. Fort is meh. Give me hero or brez instead. Your original comment wasnt about organized group's so you cant now bring that in. Actually bring me an interrupt. Dps cant seem to interrupt, so i will take that

I am currently looking for an alt for my resto shaman and having a hard time deciding. Which other healer works well with pugs? As a shaman I got to +12 rather easily but after trying a bit of other healers they don't make a lot of sense gameplay wise to me. I tried holy pally and never felt so lost because they play nothing like a "standard healer".

NERF PALLIES. Literally in mythic raid, our pallies are top heals with LITERALLY full mana at the end of every fight. Not an exaggeration, literally 100% mana while me as a holy priest is OOM. How is mana usage this unbalanced?

@ lmao, def not a skill issue. I’m top of the meters too, but when a pally is neck and neck, and he’s literally full mana, then that’s an imbalance. There is no reason a healer is full mana at the end of the fight in mythic raids and be one of the top heals on the meter without spending any mana. Makes no sense.

It's sad as healer to see such a dominance from resto sham. I really really enjoy holy priest, but to push keys +12 and more in PUGs, it really sucks. I was a Rdruid main for long years, but I hate playing in cat form, manage energy and combo, so bye bye Rdruid for a long time. So now I'm playing disc priest but I feel the gameplay really stereotyped, with 5 keybinds... So I will probably wait the next season if Hpriest get some love from blizzard

our holy paladin in raid has full mana the whole fight. Heroic Ovinax for reference they were doing about 1 mil hps landing first or 2nd on heals with 614 ilvl. That is kinda frustrating when other healers are struggling more with working to keep their mana in check.

AC does not really use mana, Might does and struggles more than most healers in drawn out fights in terms of mana- so the nerf does nothing to address the busted "unlimited" mana that our meta build has while effectively nerfing our already weaker and mana hungry off-meta build.

So glad AC is back with lightsmith. It's nearly doubled my damage in keys and feels a lot more rewarding at the sacrifice of some risk. Herald was cool but ultimately it felt like it took the melee aspect put of hpal

um says who. I drunk healed a +8 COT tonight as a Oracle Disc. Not known for their dps and i was drunk 2 chested it. Staying alive and healing is more important then dps. ( i did die 2 out of the 4 deaths but i was smashed )

Holy Pally, AW built; yeah I subscribed for one year in Spring with the early TWW package, but that's it for me. Blizzard is incredibly not creative not responsive, disrespectful and stupid. Nothing is ok except the art. Since BC II took 2 big breaks and my last and final is coming. Famous last words for Blizz : (1) take away the dependence on gear; the strong get stronger in this game but to a ridiculous point, content is irrelevant in no time because of the effen exponential power of ilvl; (2) learn to scale your raids properly; raid comp should be free if you only scaled independently boss health, boss dps, timing of abilities; instead you scale it all at the same time and guilds have to bring *exactly* this or that number of healers for a given number of dps, that's lame, how in heaven and hell could you finally introduce scaling X years ago and NOT do it right, a grade school kid is smarter than you Blizzard; (3) stop the pay-for-play in professions; the continent-wide AH and the crafting orders system are a major failure; it's impossible to make decent gold and competition is ridiculous; the AH concept worked on individual realms but doesn't nationwide. It wasn't broken and you "fixed" it. OMG, so Blizzard, they already sucked before, but under Microsoft rule it's horrendous.
