The BMW i4 is an all-electric four-door fastback styled sedan under development by German automobile manufacturer BMW, marketed as a four-door coupe sales expected to commence in the first quarter of 2022.
The BMW i4 model line will be available in two different versions covering ranges of up to 590 Kilowatt for the single motor i4 eDrive40 model and maximum output of up to 400 Kilowatt for the dual motor i4 M50. It can accelerate from 0 to 100km/h in around 4 seconds
The vertically aligned kidney grille extends from the unique BMW i front apron. Instead of cooling air, the kidney grille conceals state-of-the-art sensor technology that provides real-time data to the vehicle.The aerodynamically optimised silhouette is an extension of the classic BMW Coupé proportions - a long wheelbase with short overhangs and a flowing roof-line define its sporty and elegant lines.
The new BMW Curved Display combines the 12.3″ instrument cluster with the 14.9″ Control Display to create a modern display unit that curves ergonomically towards the driver. The very sleek and flat instrument panel sets the tone for the modern appearance. The high center console provides a sporty feel and defines a separate area for the driver and front passenger. A full-fledged 5-seater, offering space for up to three people in the rear. Generous headroom and legroom ensure seating comfort for all.
The luggage compartment with a volume of 470 liters of the BMW i4 is generously sized for a coupé. And it can be expanded up to 1,290 liters by folding down the rear bench seat.
The amount of time required to charge a BMW i4 Gran Coupe varies depending on the power source. Using a 240 volt outlet with the standard Flexible Fast Charger or BMW Wallbox, the BMW i4 can charge from 0 to100% in less than nine hours. with a public DC Fast Charger, just 10 minutes of charging can add 108 miles of range to the i4 eDrive40, or 88 miles to the i4 M50.
Pricing for the BMW i4 is set to start at $55,400 for the lowest spec model, which only comes with a single electric motor. Meanwhile the performance model will set you back $65,900.
