Nah that board breaker is not only thrustable, but it's better than you think. It's a perfect going second card. Step 1. Use Evenly to wipe most of the field. Step 2. During MP2, use this to bounce anything remaining that concerns you. Step 3. At worst, you burned 3 cards and should have that much remaining. Meanwhile you just took out a entire field.

Dark Necromancer is actually crazy using Vendread as an engine to kill handtraps for the turn and getting 2 to 3 free bodies for anything. All a 1 card combo no less too.

Gordian Schneider is secret Nemleria support. The zombie cards are cool tech as well.

It's not very good Nemleria support. To get out Reveil you banish 3, to use Dreaming Tower you banish 2, and to use Oreiller's atk boost you banish 1. So even Nemleria can't afford to banish 12 to bounce 2. Also keep in mind that Nemleria only shuffles 5 ED cards back, so after you've used Nemleria once that synergy with this card is gone, since you don't really want to be banishing your main deck cards. If you have Gren Maju then it's okay to banish from hand, but if you've banished your opponents board, and 10 of your ED cards are banished and you have Gren Maju + your Nemleria monsters on the field, you didn't need GS in the first place.

Doesn't Nemurelia has some synergy with Gordian Schneider? I don't know much about the archetype because it sucks, but I believe they want to reduce the extra deck somewhat fast and is a go 2nd deck. We could see more Nemurelia support soon-ish? I believe there are some zombies that trigger when banished. At least I know of the lvl 6 Jiangshi (I don't remember it's name) that summons itself when banished and can foolish another zombie. Also I love the card art. One of my favourite old school cards is Pyramid Turtle, as I always thought it was funny that I could summon a big monster out of nowhere (although a lot of people called me a cheater back in my childhood for it) Dark Necromancer is interesting, let's see what card are they planning on releasing for it.

Pyramid turtle has 1400 DEF so I think that's the DEF for the curse of the Turtle card. LOTS of potential with Dark Necro and I'm not even a Zombie main. Using ghost fusion, you can banish Dark Necro directly from deck to trigger it's 2nd effect. In fact since it was just banished, you can use that 2nd effect to special one of the materials you chose to banish, maybe even itself (depending on the level restriction) and then trigger it's first effect.

Dark necromancer can special itself, you can see it on the yugipedia. Unfortunately the only zombie/fiend archetype with ritual monsters is vandread (but the card is going to be used as just a foolish in zombie pile ngl)

Gordian Schneider is indeed usable after getting it off Thrust as it doesn't mention what main phase, meaning you can Thrust into it during Main Phase 1 and use it at the start of Main Phase 2. Edit: Also you can't Ash the second effect of the Curse as it would trigger at the end of the damage step, at which point Ash cannot be activated.

@@6210classick But that is the whole difference, Evenly can be negated, the new spell cannot. And considering that we're talking about boardbreaking, you would probably run both anyway as they don't conflict with each other, one is for impact, the other for consistent results.

So far I looked into the Fiend/Zombie Rituals. As of now...we barely have any good targets that amount to anything when they're in the graved. Besides: Revendread Origin, which basically is tailored for this card. Send a Vendread to the grave and add Origin. Link off Necromancer so its in your GY so you can banish it as part of the ritual summon.Then SS another Zombie from your banish (depending on its level restrictions). Revendread Evolution: The same as Origin Ritual Summoning from the GY, but you can foolish 1 Vendread monster from your deck as well.

Gordian should have been a quick-play. I think the fact that it can miss timing on top of everything going on is the ultimate killer. You can't stop it but you can simply dodge it's effect e.g. Little knight. Speaking of ultimates, ultimate slayer seems like a simply better version of this card because your oppnent's monsters can't react to it.

The board breaker has too many restrictions to see widespread play. Is a normal spell, so it's good only going second, if it was a quickplay it would have been a different story. Start of the main phase means if you use thrust to search it, you have to waste the battle phase to use it, and if doing that was good everyone would be playing evenly matched. You have to be ready to lose 12 monsters in the extra deck, so few decks can afford that price, it can only target face up cards so if the opponent is patient they can easily play around it. And finally it banishes face down, meaning it has no synergy with cards that go plus when banished. This card is almost good, but not quite.

Outside of vendread sadly no, Demise I guess is an option same with dark master zorc. The Impcantation ritual is an option but its never seen play just play the effect monsters at that point. So hopefully some type of zombie/fiend ritual is introduced like a new zorc, a new diabound, or heck even Dokurorider would be cool.
