Thought it was terrible at start but its kinda okie You can trigger it on your turn and opponent turn with DPE, you can activate a spell chain dpe to pop it and it self so this guy can come back on your own turn so it servers as a second body mid combo

It's flexible and clearly made to work with DPE (and Fusion Destiny dumping him since he's level 6+) but the once per *Duel* on his revive makes him a one-of at best. And considering how clogged Hero decks already are, they'd probably just stick with Malicious and Wake Up as the tag team partners for DPE.

HERO is literally the largest archetype in the franchise so it's no surprise it's hard to remember all of them. The easy way to remember the HERO cards is to split them up: Elemental (The OG/boonmer core. Every combo of main deck monsters has a fusion. Decent recovery and ability to go plus.) Destiny (Dark, GY interaction) Evil (Fiends, must be summoned with 1 of 2 cards or with help of field spell that lifts the restriction) Masked (Special fusion monsters using only 1 material, not treated as fusion summons) Xtra (Link monsters) Vision(shenanigans involving placing themselves in spell/trap zone) *** * technically not HERO but also technically HERO because nothing in YGO is simple: Neos Wiseman Neo-Spacian (Contact fusion with Elemental HERO) *** Final note, not relevant but thought I'd add it, HERO has the most ways to cheat extra deck monsters(ignore summon conditions) and contact fuse than any other archetype.

It’s so odd, I feel like heroes are always “ALMOST THERE…” for like 12 years now. They constantly get support, but that support is lagged. I feel like this recent wave would put them on a pre-pote tier list but not in today’s climate. Fast forward to 2027 when hero gets another wave that catches them up to 2022-2023.

Honestly I am A OK with that, because Hero's modern endboard is miserable to play into, so I'd rather they be a niche casual deck then one I'd have to play against more often.

they still lack a 1 card combo if i'm not mistaken, excluding fiendsmith stuff. I can't fully remember but I think their best combo for like 2 interuption board requires 2 or 3 cards. yikes

Ice barrier is another example of legacy archetypes that got decent support. Certainly enough to make it playable/rogue.

This can help extend into Links like Infernal Devicer, and a 2500 Defense isn't half bad. It also fits with the original Vicious Claw's effect. The ATK boost is minimal, but that's not why you use it. The recursion is nice, but a bit situational.

That basically gives DPE an extra pop once per duel. I see what they did it once per duel cause if it weren't the strategy just got twice as toxic, but a once per duel restriction on the pop practically kills the card unless I am missing something about if that one-time extra pop is really gonna do much in this day and age.

They should've had that effect twice or thrice per Duel or make it be restricted to the number of Evil Hero Fusions you control to help with the purity of the sub theme. Once per Duel shouldn't be the definitive restriction to make effects on cards that can be really powerfully impactful by themselves or in combination with certain other powerfully impactful cards assuming the high consistency to get to them is there. Experimentation works on more than just music & visual art.

I was curious of what hero/hero support cards that would work Destiny Hero Phoenix Enforcer popped up first in mind fusion materials is a level six or higher hero and any destiny hero (probably a little tuff squeezing in three different hero archetypes) the next few I looked up like I didn't know Elemental Hero Sunrise had an effect to destroy one card on the field when a hero is being attacked but if you want a evil hero to do the Evil Hero Lighting Golem will do the job, the negative so to Lightning Golem is he needs to specific materials being Elemental Hero Sparkman and Clay Man

This card is ok, it's a free SS off of any HERO monster on field (the ATK boost can be an interesting benefit for some Fusions) the pop however is actually really good. It doesn't state your opponent must destroy 1 of your monsters so its easy to proc off of DPE and on top of that the pop also doesn't target and can destroy any card on field Honestly this card isn't that necessary but its a fun testing tool at least

Things to remember Pros: dark, high level Cons: not warrior Middle: extender I don’t think heroes needed an extender, especially if you can’t make cross crusader with it, but it’s a high level for DPE and doesn’t brick. At the very worst, you can make infernal devicer to search neos

it can make dpe with fusion destiny and can be used to extend even further by triggering in grave from dpe pop wich is sometimes used in your starting combo to extend with wake up your elemental hero to get a card out you deck. so optimaly it can extend twice 1 from own special and one from dpe pop on own turn but i dont know if hero has room for that next to faries consideing he leads to a card that want to be in grave in grave plus a poly and that takes up at minimum 3 slots for faries and 2 to 4 for vyon and shadowmist, so unleas space is somehow found for it at 1 or 2 i dont see it being fully as necesary but might be uesfull as an extender that can be utility pop for more pressure going first

In omni heroes this guy is bad, but in pure evil heroes this guy is a solid one copy, extends into infernal devicer, uses the counter trap, is a necrom target, and also is malicious bane material

this one doesn't really boosts the deck. I hope there is an other card. And i would love to have an other Hero Link monster designed for Evil Heros. Infernal devicer is nice and all, but it is pretty much the only useful Hero link in a more pure variant.
