New Braunfels Celebrates as Lake Dunlap Returns After Dam Break

After nearly 2 years since a dam break caused Lake Dunlap to empty, residents are eagerly anticipating its restoration. The Guadalupe-Blanco River Authority (GBRA) has announced plans to refill the lake at the end of July, with expectations of it reaching its full capacity within three to four weeks.

I find it interesting that people talk about the water being 'back where it should be' when in fact its the dam that is putting water where it shouldnt naturally be.
