Had our two children seven years apart, and needed that, but I do remember my 7 year old son being a bit jealous in the beginning. He’s 57 now! Awesome that you had an easy labor. We also lost everything in a home fire when our children were aged 10 and 3. Fortunate that it did not happen during the night.

I think its awesome they let your daughter in the room! I was there for my sister's delivery of my neice and it was an awesome experience. Especially since i had csections for my kids. My kids are 6 years apart and I absolutely love watching them interact!!
