New Bullet Proof Vest

Another good video. I think you will find the new vest very beneficial and more comfortable than what you’re used to wearing. As far as setting up the vest, and of course this is just purely an opinion. I would move the taser to the left side of the vest and utilize the Blackhawk molle attachment using the Blackhawk taser holster in a canted cross draw. I would move your primary set of handcuffs up to the vest somewhere towards the center of the vest where it can be accessed by either hand. Then move your two pistol mags to the vest on whichever side you prefer. Then move your CAT tourniquet to the vest. On the upper portion of the vest, utilize your molle loops to keep some important things within reach, ink pens, pen style handcuff key and your quiq lite. Keep your firearm on the belt, expandable baton behind the firearm, move your backup set of cuffs on your belt to either your left side or up front on your belt and keep your flashlight on your belt. For the radio, go with what works for you, belt or vest. That’s about all I can think of and just my two cents. Stay frosty and watch your six!

My department just converted to wearing these same vest. Our setup goes from left to right, Radio, mags, oc & handcuff and our holsters come from Zero9 Holsters

I wear my radio on the right side of my vest and run my shoulder mic across my back and hook it to my left shoulder. I am right handed so I can still comm and maintain control of my firearm. Just what works for me.

I would put Taser cross draw on vest with radio on the vest so that way if you get knocked down the radio is still in front of you and you aren't sitting on it trying to get help and maybe put your rear cuff case on the left side of the vest! nice and simple. and you can put your TQ on the cross draw side or what ever is comfortable for you.

I have the same vest. I wore a lot of gear on it but now just run it slick because we have to wear our seat belts in our squads and the seat belt was catching all my gear. But overall its a good comfortable vest.

From my experience, 11 years in military LE, I carry mags on my centerline, cuffs on the right and if you want you could do a pogy pouch for odds and ends (gloves, multitool, narcan, etc...) to the left of the mags I carry a flashlight and radio. Literally the only things I carry on my belt are my pistol, ASP and TQ. I see a lot of guys carry TQ's on their vest if that interests you. Let me know what you think. Try to keep the weight centered and balanced. I look forward to seeing your final setup!

Yeah, I carry all my medical stuffs up top. That being if I’m wounded and can’t physically move my arms or legs o have my very helpful things right up on my chest or belly. Not behind me or under my vest crowded between other pouches and stuff. Also keep things like ASP and OC there for quick deployment

I have the Safariland Oregon city vest. Looks almost identical to yours. I have a 34" waist so my duty belt was very crowded and heavy. I moved my taser, flashlight, oc spray, CAT tourniquet and radio to the front of my vest. I would prefer to run it slick but had to get some of the gear off my belt because it was uncomfortable as Hell in my patrol unit.

How much was the safariland? I thought I've seen them go for 360 without the ballistic armor included

​@laracorpmax yeah they are expensive but will probably last a long time. I've washed mine on delicate cycle a couple of times and hang dry. It hasn't faded much. Still looks black at night even though it's dark blue.

Bro, that vest looks freakin awesome. Wear it over your shirt. A certain level of intimidation is needed now with the animals were breeding. Come up on a bear, u make yourself look BIGGER( intimidation purposes) and make loud noises. Looking militaristic isn't a bad thing unless doing it for the wrong reasons . Salute bro. Great video

Well first let me say if that is a ProMag it probably won't be reliable. I think the vest outside is way more comfortable. I can see where some might view it as to military looking. I say to them. Wear your shirt over your vest in late July Texas weather and get back to me princess 🔫🤠👍

It’s too short looks like I only goes up to your belly button. I want something futher down give it that cleaner look.
