I myself know a a lot about mechanics & electrical & the one advice I can give you is to make sure to remove the flux capacitor first, before ever removing the phalange. Because god forbid these two components ever touch! Well, let’s just say they’ll be a problem...not just with your alternator, but The space-time continuum...as we know it! Thanks guys, my idiocy aside, great video. Love seeing all 3 tribes together. Thanks!

Hey guys , Roberto de Oliveira from Toronto. The work you guys did in this Van is outstanding .if you don’t mind please send me a link of where you guys purchased your track Satelite Sistems. Thank you much. All the best.

Did you guys get your kit from Nomadic cooling? If so, is your van the 4cyl 2Liter? I have the nomadic 250A kit and i'm having trouble installing it. Wondering if I have the wrong bracket for my 2015 144WB 2liter sprinter
@AdaptiveHumanity2 жыл бұрын
We did not, this van was a diesel and the kit was purchased from Nations starter and alternator.

Hi again - finally getting around to installing my 3-belt Nations kit. Did you all go with the three belt or two-belt kit? I'm having a heck of a time finding a video on the three belt kit.
@AdaptiveHumanity3 жыл бұрын
I think we have a three belt (not positive) But didn’t need a video, just lined it up :)

Can I install this on a 2.1L 2018 Mercedes sprinter ? Can you share the link for the alternator
@AdaptiveHumanity3 жыл бұрын
Check out nations alternator, that is who we got it from. They have tons of options available.

Hi I have the same question, ie the 2.1/2 2018 diesel, did you have any joy?

Great job!👍 It looks nice and beastly. Very nice job! I’m glad you had Howard helping you. Didn’t see Katelyn there I don’t think. Is the front end all done now or do you more to do? It looks good so far. Looking forward to see more video of the hard work soon! Have a great week.

Did you guys put washers to install the lights to the grill? looks great!
@AdaptiveHumanity3 жыл бұрын
Just the washers that came with the bumper. I did have to relocate the hole that the factory drilled slightly off.

How do you wire 200+A power to your battery banks I wonder. it's a serious amount of current to go through a wire continuously. Are you using 24V system?
@AdaptiveHumanity2 жыл бұрын
12v system, 4/0 marine insulated fully tinned wire. So 20’ run including ground leg will give you a 310amp load rating at 3% load loss. All specs are as per coast guard standards not automotive. Marine industry is way more stringent on electrical standards then the automotive industry.
@AZRockRunner2 жыл бұрын
@@AdaptiveHumanity I see. That's $10 a foot of 4/0 wire, and the diameter is almost an inch, won't be easy to route. I am considering 24V system instead.
@AdaptiveHumanity2 жыл бұрын
@@AZRockRunner super easy to run, we use 4/0 regardless of length for our battery systems. We also use vertex marine bulk spools .
@jamesmaccubbin74343 жыл бұрын
Did you all have the N62 option on your van? I have a 2020 without it, and it looks like they've put a hose where the alternator needs to go.
@AdaptiveHumanity3 жыл бұрын
We do not, I thought it was close also but once I got it in there was plenty of room. If you send me an email adaptivehumanity@gmail.com I will gladly send you some pictures of it installed.
