Congratulations! You've bought some rust, with most of a van attached to it! Good luck chasing down all that rust - I'm convinced that Sprinters of that era came off the factory line rusty... Also, why is it when us blokes buy a camper van of some description, the first thing we have to do is strip it right back to the bare metal? Did the same myself 20-odd years ago...

That sliding door inner repair panel are made for the other side…. You’ll find you’ll have to modify it to fit our uk left sliding doors as it’s back to front and they don’t make them for the left 🤦‍♂️ I had many hours of fun on these. I also have some dxf files plasma for the rear panel behind the bumper and where the rear door closed happy to email them over

I managed to get the right sided one mate, got it on ebay. Those dxf files would be really handy if you could email them. [e-mail] I couldn't find that panel anywhere. Cheers Matt

when i saw the picture on the vid i was like ohw thats a rustbucket , youre right it isnt al that bad probably a month or so of work when i have time type of rustrepair and than doing the interior , curious to see how that goes as you cannot weld wood together verry funny stuff wood , catches fire and all that

What just happened? Suddenly Matt with wisps of grey , a missus and 2 kids!!! Oh I know we all grow old, but in one episode? That was sudden! ...and worked really well! Same chassis, and parts interchangeability(but NOT all) Exterior panels are not the same but doors etc will fit from VW. Soup Classic Motoring has just ‘finished’ the bodywork and paint on his.. Your compare knows his stuff and l would suggest a raise to help maintain the ‘mulletpocalype’ I don’t have one as I am 59 and going bald.. envy is a terrible thing. Looking forward to a bit of rust porn…
