Congratulations on the SS Agile. My two favorite road treks are the SS Agile and the (now discontinued) Roadtrek 170. Maybe one day. Im living in a no build Dodge Grand Caravan right now, enjoying the minimalist lifestyle and the simplicity of my tiny home on wheels. If Roadtrek brought back the 170 on the Chevy van, wow, it would be so tempting! Enjoy your new SS Agile and enjoy the adventures! Super happy for you.

Microwave runs on 110v power. It can run for a short time on the RV 12v battery with the included inverter, but for longer cooking, the RV needs to be plugged in to external power, on the engine needs to be on, so the under-hood generator works and charges the battery at the same time. For waste, it has a black water tank and a grey water tank. Toilet goes into the black water, shower & sink go into the grey water. When they are full, you drive to a dump station and empty first the black and then the grey that rinses the hoses as well.

Why is the bathroom always in front of the kitchen?

Because the back is usually reserved for a sitting area that turns into a bed in this type of layout, and it’s nice to be able to open the back doors and have more views. There is another layout, usually for longer vans, that has the bathroom at the back, but you lose the option to open the back doors to the main area of the van.

It's also more convenient/efficient for the plumbing to be close together. You save on equipment cost because you've used less piping and connectors. If repairs are needed fewer areas need to be disrupted to access pipes. Those kinds of functional efficiency type issues.
