Well, the decision has been made! The Big Wang Turbo John Mustang is not going to be rebuilt! It made it's last ride with us, and I really appreciate all the love the car showed us. This car has been running strong for 2 years, and was only getting faster but my stupid mistake is just gonna be too much to rebuild. Luckily, I have some awesome friends that helped me pull the parts and pieces off of it and get ready to swap to the new loaner car.......My buddy Randy (not ProMod Randy) has had this car sitting for a little while, and has offered it up for us to use........check this tube chassis car out... lets see if we can get it running and running up front. Tube chassis cars to the front.....lol

I can't wait to see it, for a short time!lol Glad you're happy though, and build wise, it looks pretty good! To do paint like that, spray it on, take some saran wrap and lay it down, pull up quickly and bam, bowling ball!lol Try it with your burnt orange with black, or something different that'll look good... it isn't rocket science, you're not gonna mess it up! I had a friend call me after she had an accident in a Saturn. She told me her fender exploded. I was thinking she was overreacting... I showed up to tow her and sure as shit that Saturn fender done blowed up! I had no idea the body panels are plastic on those Saturns! I am sure that will make a solid base for big John!!!

John, since you need to replace the front fenders, extend the front tubing until the spindals are infront of the engine. More weight bias to the rear will allow more power applied early in the run on backside tracks.

Them saturns came factory with the plastic panels. Reason i know is we use to build them for dirt track cars. They worked well on the dirt track so it should work well as a gnarly drag car. Im happy for you buddy.

Johnny's Psycho-dellic Saturn Rocket, Just 1 acid trip away from the Winner's Circle in back or front of the track no prep...Almost ready for countdown and launch of a new non-ford experience! Randy, you are the man for coming up w/ that fast loaner roller and race rental for a great friend! This project is going to make the subscribe button on the channel explode into a new direction! Keep the paint as is big boy, it will attract a whole new fanbase, and create content and controversy where none should even exist, but will build the channel further I will predict. Every channel needs haters and lovers to make the youtubes glow bigger. And that 70's paint will glow under those track lights, and look like a blur as you go by the competition.

That's a good fairly complete car. The bump steer looks like it will be crazy, you might have to move the rack back

This front end is set up correctly. The rack width is the correct length for the lower control arm location, the tie rods are the correct length & on the right plane for the lower control arms & it has correct positive Ackermann. This will not bump steer, unlike the Mustang that was all wrong with the rack being too wide, the tie rods too short & on the wrong plane & it had reverse Ackermann.
