Could you help me understand the screen mirror/cast feature. Is it possible to share/cast the screen from the same mobile sharing the hotspot ? Or do we need a third device to which both devices are connected? like at home where the phone and TV are on the same wifi.

It can be done on the same mobile. In the video, I haveconnected the device with my mobile hotspot and then used the same mobile for mirroring. You have to connect the mobile to the wifi network of the device.

I would go with Ottocast P3 any day, double RAM and Storage, and a more stable device. I have used it personally and I am a big fan of Ottocast devices

Both are really good devices. You can pick any. Carlinkit is superior in terms of RAM and storage but Carluex is equally fast

@@jswords1977 I did end up buying it. It works OK. I don’t think I could find anything better. I still usually end up using wired Apple CarPlay in my car. It just works better. The wireless CarPlay has a very slight lag, but my main complaint is really the audio quality when I’m listening to music through wireless Apple CarPlay through the kit. It’s noticeably worse than wired Apple CarPlay, and worse than same source played via Bluetooth direct to car stereo. If you end up using the android apps/interface, then this might be more worth it. You could use it in place of connecting your phone at all. in fact minus the phone calling, etc. which you can do through Bluetooth, The built-in apps are decent and there is no lag at all and audio plus screen quality is good.
