I have been using the Cerave Hydrating Sunscreen Sheer Tint SPF 30. I like it a lot. In addition to sun protection, it has a lot of other beneficial ingredients as well.

Finally someone who says and shows that you need to be generous with your sunscreen, as most people use only a fraction of what they need. A quarter teaspoon is the absolute minimum for your face, of you want to reach the SPF on the label. Great video!

For fair skin, Andalou SPF 30 CC, Sheer Nude may be an option. It's 20% zinc oxide.

The ingredients sound good but it left my face looking too oily; my face looks almost sweaty, not a good look. I used a powder to counter the very shinny look but within a couple of hours it looked oily again. I have normal skin (not oily and not dry). My favorite tinted mineral sunscreen is still La Roche Posay even if it’s more expensive. Since I just bought this Cerve sunscreen I might try mixing with another sunscreen to see if it can give a better finish.

I’ve been using this!! I love it!! I use it alone as well.. wish they came in bigger sizes.. I go through so fast.. I love DRMTGY and Elta sunscreen too!! Elta is a little more matte though ..

I have an olive skin tone, and it works perfectly and matches my skin perfectly. I don't even put moisturizer or anything under it. Best tinted sunscreen I've ever used.

Ill pick it up once it hits stores in Canada. I’ve been using Thinksport Face tinted mineral face and it’s pretty good. My HG is the tinted sunscreen from Australian Gold. Is the Cerave water resistant?

No, the Cerave sunscreens aren't water resistant I don't think

it looks very well on you. But you don't apply enough sunscreen (from what i see). You completely under applied the around eye area, which is probably the most important area to cover with sunscreen.

I have a separate under eye SPF that I apply to my under eyes which I didn't apply in this video as I was strictly talking about the Cerave brand. Yes, I did not put a lot under my eyes but if I were to strictly use the Cerave I would have definitely added a lot more.

Hi! Do you know what sunscreen I could use from the drugstore under this cerave tinted sunscreen? the tint of it is actually a little dark for me but I didn't know what mineral, non-tinted sunscreen I could wear under it to kind of offset the tint. (derm on KZbin dr dray said that mixing sunscreens together might mess up their uv protection capability, so layering is a better tactic). Thanks!!!!!

You could use the Australian Gold face sunscreen. They have a tinted and non tinted and the tinted one is very subtle with little pigment. The Australian Gold is more of a matte finish so it won't be as hydrating as the Cerave one. You could also use the Cerave Ultra-Light Moisturizing lotion SPF 30 but I find this one to smell very sunscreen like. Just an FYI..

One great tip that my dermatologist told me was..if you don’t think you use enough sunscreen. Instead of measuring it out, draw lines down two fingers and that is enough. From palm to tip of your pointer and middle finger.

I have this and the non tinted version one which is the same just without the tint so I mix them together so I get a lighter tint since my skin is pretty fair

Yes! I do this with the Drunk Elephant SPF's to dilute the tinted one.. I didn't have the best luck with the non tinted Cerave SPF but I am glad it works for you!

You should use glycolic acid from the ordinary for spots that are darker and more pigmented in you face or dark circles worked great for me

I still do.. I don’t think there is enough in the cream to conflict with the vitamin c..

When I use this, it does leave my skin looking super greasy and wet, unfortunately. I have really dry skin and love things that are hydrating, but this was a whole different thing for me. Do you still like this sunscreen? For me, if I mix a super dry sunscreen with it, it will fix the color for me and make it dry down a little bit better. But, otherwise I can't really wear it. :)

Yes, I still like this SPF and you are right, it's very hydrating which I love but this SPF is probably more suited for winter...

Ever since I used this, ive been breaking out. I’m not allergic to anything, well that’s what I’ve known all my 14 years on this earth. It makes my skin shiny around my t-zone area. Am i the only one??

Do you know if it's non pilling and wears well under foundation? It does look like a fairly dark color. I wonder if a lighter foundation over top would work? Have you tried it? I'm looking forward to your new top face sunscreens vid.

I have never experienced any pilling with the SPF and it wears great under foundation. You could use a lighter foundation on top that would probably work great or just self tan your neck/chest if you are still in winter weather like I am 😉

I only use the MAC Studio Concealer which is in the shade NC25.. Hard to say if it would be dark on you but if you are someone that self tans then it may be good..

Hey there, I am not sure how dark your skin is but yes there is a sunscreen that may work for you and it's definitely worth looking into.. I have a few products from this line and was thinking of getting an SPF for myself and seen that they have an SPF 50 with a bronze tint. Not sure how dark it is but hey it might be perfect for you? Oh-- that Colorscience Bronze is absolutely GORGEOUS!! When I was younger , I was always striving to get my skin that color, but now, I know it was not good for me. The best way to go is temporary now -- meaning makeup, now that we all know the sun can be so damaging.😵But I still love that color🌝

I would say this one is a little different but it is similar... This one is a lot more hydrating and thicker than the First Aid Beauty... I find the First Aid Beauty to be a tad darker as well... Some can yes. The tinted ones don’t. If you get a mineral/chemical sunscreen sometimes you won’t see a white cast with those either.

This SPF is pretty moisturizing. I have combo skin and don't seem to have a problem with it but if you have oily skin you may find it to be too moisturizing but it's definitely worth a try! If you are looking for a tinted SPF that is non greasy with a matte finish I would really recommend this: bit.ly/2M85Qhv It comes in 3 shades!

I just got this today but I haven't taken it out of the box yet, and I honestly don't even know if I'm going to. From the information you gave in this video this sunscreen is going to be WAY too dark for my fair skin 😭😭 Dang it. I'm SO bummed 😭😭 I wonder if I mix some of my LA Girl white mixer in with it if it will mess with the sunscreen protection? I wanted to love this so bad. But if it doesn't end up working for me I just ordered the Suntegrity 5 in 1 Natural Moisturizing Face Sunscreen in the shade fair. Have you ever tried that one? I've heard AMAZING things about it and just by the reviews it seems to check all of my boxes. It's hard for me to find sunscreen for my specific skin type. I like mineral sunscreen, I like tinted sunscreen but it's hard to find it light enough for my fair skin, and I need the formula to be moisturizing because I have EXTREMELY dry/mature skin. I think the Suntegrity one claims to do all of those things and I've also heard a lot of people say it's good. It should arrive sometime this week.

Oh really? When you have a tan this may work for you. It's an amazing SPF and it's so hydrating. No I have never tried that sunscreen you're talking about it but I may look into it!

@@SincerelyMissAsh it's quite pricey. Around $50. But I hear it SOOOOOO worth it. But it's kind of one of those tinted SPF moisturizers with fairly good coverage. I don't think you would need foundation on top of it. If you do try it please do a review video. I'd love to hear/see what you have to say about it ❤
