You may see her reflect moved to ult and ultimate replaced with a smaller ranged version. The reflect is just too strong because it uses the enemy strength against them. And if it's used to block ultimates that's a lot of damage coming back (an ultimates worth!) think how dark passage on tahm kench got swapped around with devour. At 40% haste she's got reflect back up in 20 seconds which is faster than lux can ult her! Reflect is op, her executes can be toned down, it would be cooler if they applied a stacking bleed and could be mended for burst damage (kinda Darius +kallista) rather than another execute.

Her reflect works two ways. If it's a target ability, it reflects it straight back at whoever sent it. If it's an aimed ability, it reflects back in the direction from which it hit you. So a Cait ult or auto attack would go straight back at her, but a Diana q hits from the side, so it would reflect from you out to the side.

Def looks like it works by deleting the old projectile and casting from Mel and Riot would probably have to recode Diana to somehow fix it but they're probably not too worried about that because of the new engine update coming soon, they have to recode everything anyway lol. Diana Q is also coded weird because you can dramatically extend its range by aiming your Q far past the cast range and also if you dash, flash, or thresh lantern in the opposite direction of the Q's direction it will also extend it.

There's official Riot post about it I think. But there used to be this nonprofit project called chronoshift which was coded from the base game on CD. Riot initially stated that they don't care if people emulate old lol, 'who would wanna do that anyway?'. But literally as I was next in line to play season 2 lol again (which is the season I started) Riot shut the project down with legal threats. Those same devs are working on a different MOBA called Syndicate of Souls which its art style is similar to old lol, it will be having another open alpha here soon. Anyhow, Riot will probably release LOL vanilla after a game engine update (and you bet your *** they'll find a way to monetize it). The Chronoshift devs said they would never try to code past season 3 because of Yasuo. Yasuo made Riot have to basically recode their entire game because of windwall. Interestingly WildRift was coded on Unity so who knows what engine they'll actually pick. I actually do own a cd copy of LOL because I snagged it pretty early off e-bay. If Riot doesn't release LOL vanilla I have the option to get it done to host private games with friends. What sucks is the CD only works on Windows Vista.

If i understand her correctly : 1) Her auto and abilities apply stacks to enemies 2) Auto and Ult will consume the stacks to do additionnal damage 3) if #2 would put the enemy below lethal range, it will execute the enemy. Not EXACTLY. Her abilities proc a passive lich bane effect that apply 3 stacks per charge and do damage. It can charge 3 times for 9 total projectiles. Her q applies a stack per flash explosion instance. her E applies per time it hits and radiates. Her w applies stacks... like whatever move it reflected would. If the stacks reach higher than the health AND shields, it instantly kills them. However it seems to cap at exactly 40 stacks rank 1. Like hard cap. This is important BECAUSE. If she ults, it causes her to instantly do damage based on the overwhelm stacks. It doesn't remove those stacks tho. It keeps them. On all targets. Once the Ult went off, pyke dies, and pantheon gets nearly the same amount of damage to himself, but he lives... but he has a mark above his head saying he is still in the execute threshold. This means her R will gain damage if she hits multiple people all at once in a wombo combo in a minion line stacked to high heaven. I could be wrong, it could have bugged out or this could be unintentional or misleading visually. But pyke and pantheon took the same damage, except pyke was the one being autoed for the passive 3 stacks in the air. So he is the one that got "checked" by the passive post R. Pyke took 358, pantheon 330. Pantheon was carrying stacks from lane before the combo killed him. I also saw something similar with cait. She gets hit by 18 stacks, and takes around 750/800 damage. But the execute still kills her and displays only 567, on someone who's hp bar is RIGHT next to the 1k mark before taking 200 damage. However, that 567 has a number under it starting with 2. My guess it was 2XX and 567 for the total 700/800 needed. This means. When looking at her R damage ADD it to her passive damage. She has the ability to easily get 30 stacks at once. So passive is 75 plus 25% ap, plus 3 + .75% ap per stack, plus she also gets the R damage base 175 I THINK and 10 and 2.5% ap per stack Up to 40 at least on rank 1 right? so thats 225 plus 13 plus 3.25% ap X 40 = 520 +155% plus whatever active base(think it was 40%)on the R active so think 1.95X AP. Wonder if it increases the cap later on rank 2 or 3. Not wasting my time checking. Thats a pretty big pop. Not kalista level as I expected. But if it didn't have a hard cap, she would be insane.

The stacking works as follows: each spell cast adds on 3 additional stacks on that will be applied with your next auto, up to 9 total. Each instance of damage per spell also applies a stack to them. So, if you hit 2 full Q's (20 stacks), an E for 10 stacks, and auto them (1 base stack per auto + 9 stacks from casting 3 spells), you would have a total of 40 stacks of your passive applied on the enemy. These stacks will then detonate themselves if they read the kill, which appears to be at the execute line on the enemy health bars. Your ult allows you to detonate them manually instead. Your ult detonation deals a lot more damage than the execute would be.

Correct 😂 but it has to hit the blitz back. Targeted abilities like veigar r will go back to the caster. If it's an aimed ability like naut blitz or lux for example it'll reflect in the direction the spell was thrown from. So technically if blitz hooks her and she reflects but blitz happened to not move after and it hits him it will pull. But if he sidesteps after hook it can miss and pull a minion for example or nothing at all. Sorry for long response

in the champion intro they said that she can stack her passive infinitely, so i'm assuming it becomes global once they have the passive on them, then you can detonate it at any range, but i think the more stacks you put the more damage it deals, you can see a counter on the ult that increases until 40 which i'm assuming the threshold for the execute.

This is how the passive interacts: She stores ability projectiles like Sera (so if you rotate q-e-q with the right timing you can stack 9 passive one 1 auto) each Stack increases the execute Threshold The ult Doesnt *detonate* the stacks they remain even after the ult, they just deal damaged Based on the number of stacks

Bloodletter doesn't work on her Q well. Every spell/skill has 0.3 sec CD upon application and only affects ONE target, so unless it's an extended DoT, otherwise it'll probably only apply one stack. Likely a bug since its description is "each target" instead.

It looks like the ult just scales from total stacks on anyone currently having them combined? At least that makes sense with the number indicator on the ult. I feel like that makes her the hard counter to any big frontline tank team. Hecc she could even build tank herself since it also has flat scaling. She doesn't have to do damage to the tank, its better for her to not kill the tank: get as much haste as possible -> stack up -> then touch anyone else on their team with a spell behind the tank and ult. That person just explodes from all the stacks on the tank. That technically also almost makes her almost ungankable from squishies if she had a wet noodle fight with another tank. edit: watching it again, it looked like the stacks on the minions count towards the ult? so fighting with a big enemy wave can actually help her.

I think cdr is a good idea, and while I don't know what runes you picked, I think since her stacks can be built with basic attacks, Hail of Blades + Manaflow Band would be an improvement; making it less necessary to depend on E to build stacks, and shoring up some of your mana issues. Also, the item that reduces Ultimate cooldowns by half might just be clutch on her. I'm actually curious if she can still be strong without focusing on building AP.

Question about her passive: Does this mechanic completely ignores the enemies' MR? Or does the stacked value counts for MR as it is stored? If the opponent's MR plays no part on her passive execute, then Bloodletter would actually be a great item for her imo.

@zwag if you look on the bottom of your ultimate in the right corner, it tells you how many stacks you have on that person before you use your ultimate, your first time you had 25 the second time you had 40

I think shadowflame does increase the execute damage it just now show it for you. Kinda similar to how it interacts with Chogaths R By not show i mean it wont appear in the UI that you could already execute the enemy even if it in fact will do so

In the champion spotlight they say her ult won't consume her passive to execute, so if it brought their hp under the threshold I think you would still need another attack to detonate it, but then it won't make sense what the indicator on the enemies at low health means

It seems the indicator above the head is purely for her ult, if it turns red, it means her ult dmg alone is enough to kill them and has nothing to do with her passive, the passive indicator is the cross underneath the character, as easily seen on the minions, that also turn red when the next attack will execute them, make sense when her ult is just another stronger form of her execute passive

Zwag btw the reflect does interact with Briar ult and I am assuming most projectiles. If you watch the spotlight on the LOL channel, Mel reflects Briars ultimate and flies over to Briar just as she would if Mel had cast the ult herself.

Hear me out: Q -> Hits like Kaisa's Q with dash, W -> shielding like we saw in arcane, E -> Stunning like Leblanc's E, R -> recast to Reflect, Passive -> She can share her armor with her teammate, Side Quest -> Mel vs Leblanc: If Mel manages and kills the whole Leblanc's team like Rengar's passive words, then "The end of Black Rose" comes where Mel and the team takes + 25 ability power otherwise, if Leblanc manages and kills the whole Mel's team like Rengar's passive works, then "The " comes where Leblanc and her team takes + 25 ability power. That's how I imaged her kit
