I've always felt that trying to monetize makes the content less genuine. Anything that I review or talk about is just because it's something of interest to me personally, and if I find something worthy of sharing its so that others may be see or learn about something new. And I try hard to be a honest as possible and give a much detail as I would want if I were considering the subject. And I have so few followers that monitizing would likely not do much at all. And I also have no interest in feeling like I need to create content just to satisfy any rules or just to pump trash to get a few dollars. The way I understand it is that you have to have millions of views to amount to much, and doing professional edited videos takes too much time and bores me. I shoot raw and upload unedited. The only I recently did was got a better camera and a directional powered microphone since using a cell phone often had my voice very low in the background.
