I live in a small rural town, so grocery delivery from Walmart or whatever is not possible. However, I can do grocery pick up at Walmart. That’s huge for me. Saves time of having to walk through the store and then if there’s a few things that I want to choose myself I just take a couple of minutes to go in and grab those. So even that helps. And here none of that would even be possible if Covid happened happened. So something good came from it

Omgosh the brussel sprouts look delicious, I bet that smokiness from the bacon is amazing! I'll try to make them in a vegetarian style. I feel the Same about wasted food!! & I do the same thing of leaving it & leaving it after I know its bad cuz I feel guilty that I didn't use it - but it is so much better when I finally clear it all out & the truth is if its all clean & I can see what I have there is much less of a chance of food waste occurring. Amanda - Your videos always motivate me to reset! I struggle a lot w.getting things done but your personality & sweet way just make me want to do that first chore - which for me is also usually the kitchen. Also, I wanted to comment on the fact that you have always been so helpful with the links you provide for items you use or anything that we may want to find & get for ourselves. You have always been so good about that & sharing your recipes - I think your consistency is def a part of why your channel does so well!! I agree the holidays go by so quickly. I've learned over the years, that trying to create a perfect Christmas is overwhelming. Family, friends and memories are definitely the most important. So I didn't get to do the ginger cookies, but I give myself permission to say it's okay, I got the shortbread cookies done. I am going to try the Almond snowball cookies for sure!! Thank you for sharing your everyday life tasks. I live in the United Kingdom and I shop at a supermarket called Asda, a few years back it was owned by Walmart but not now. I do online shopping mainly in the winter months, when it’s cold and snowy but I shop weekly on a Friday for the week ahead. I also go to a store called M&S for the more specifics. It must be the OCD in me, but every week I put my weekly shop away in the fridge I have to wipe out the shelves, also I take the drawers out and wash them under running water with alittle disinfectant.

Amanda, your looking so good keep it up. Cleaning the fridge can be a pain but so well worth it. It is very hard when you have to throw food away knowing that there's people that are so hungry I try very hard not to buy unless I really need something, and sometimes we just don't have the money to buy things it's really make things stretch. How to make the holidays run smoother it's a good question now that I have no family except for my husband and daughter and she doesn't live with us any longer there's not much to prepare for Christmas is a joyous season in my heart but also a sad season for missing so many family members. Loved the recipes. Going to do the chicken for sure. My holidays are so busy also. I try to have cheese, crackers, pickles, carrots, cauliflower, and broccoli on hand and stuff to make different dips in case of company. My family does Thankmas for the holidays so the kids can be home Christmas day to play with their gifts. We pick a theme every year for dinner. This year is Mexican. Everyone brings a good item. We just finished a big full house renovation, I put a big deep single basin sink in my laundry room, but in the kitchen I put a double basin silgranite sink. For the kitchen I like a double basin so I can have one sink for wet/cleaning and the other for letting dishes dry as I don’t like putting them on the counter (I like to keep the counters clear). I also like double sinks for when I’m canning, I can have one basin full of soapy water, the other basin to keep clean jars ready to fill.

Hi Amanda ! I typically try to spot clean the fridge once a week but my routine has been falling through the waist side. Walmart delivery was a life saver as a new mom during a pandemic. Love those cranberry recipes. Will try soon. Was going to do Cornish game hens and make a cranberry jelly. (Just sugar and cranberries with a little water still it get to your consistency you want. You season your hens with salt pepper and any other spices you want. Once almost done you paint the cranberry jelly over the bird and cook a little more and then add a little more before serving. ❤️I love cranberries ❤️😊
