It's like they remade the Brown Sugar palette and just put in a pressed glitter 🤔

I agree, and they also removed the duo-chrome shade and the slightly reddish terracotta matte that really made that palette interesting! Brown sugar is one of my faves, and I'm not even that much of a neutral lover 🤷‍♀️

Agreed. I like this color story but I now know it is because I like Nude Mood and California Love, both of which I bought recently and have become neutral palette favorites. Between those 2 I can match every shade in the Wild Child palette.Thanks for the hard work comparison swatching.

Absolutely nothing wild about this collection 🤣🤣. They should have called it, "Another nude collection". That being said I'm getting the blushes and the Lippie sticks. UPDATE: So the website is 25% off right now, and I ended up getting the palette, 2 lippie sticks, 1 super shock and the 2 blushes...sigh..what can I say there was a sale 🤫

Well it kinda seems, according to her palette comparisons, that they have done very similar color stories/depth of colour 10 times (not trying to dismiss people who like these colours or people with skin tones for which they may be more suitable). I guess, after wanting to have access to Colorpop in the UK & not having that availability I’m already sick of the brand, esp. their marketing...just my opinion

MagpiesNeedle not just the eyeshadow palettes but ppl of color can almost never use coulourpops blushes because they’re always so light and the same tones. These new darker blush shades are an important addition that I hope they keep up with. And also poc should have more options than just brown shadow palettes if they want deeper colors. A lot of their more colored palettes are ashy on darker skin

I’m making another comment to let everyone know that lashes is PRESSED GLITTER and grasslands is not an unsafe shadow. At least that’s how they’re listed on the CP page after the official release

I want to point out that one shade from Making Mauves contains PET glitter but is not marketed as not safe for the eye are so be careful with the shades that seem glittery, always check the ingredients for “polyethylene terephthalate” which is the glitter

@@ayemeebee yep, i got in an argument with someone on Reddit because they thought I was exaggerating when saying that the glitters aren’t disclosed properly and that I should just stop buying from CP because people like them and like... no CP does not differentiate between warnings for pigments and warnings for glitter nor do they actually show the dangers of using glitter. The warning is extremely small and not at all that good formulated I hope they stop putting out glitters because 90% of people really dislike them and end up just de-potting them

Thank you for the comparison swatches!! You’ve saved me so much money already. I have the Bare Necessities, the California Love, and it’s not Colourpop, but I also have the Tati Beauty pallet and I feel a lot of the deep brown and mid tone brown shades can be achieved with that and my already existing Colourpop pallets. The super shocks look interesting as always, but I already have trouble using the super shocks I already own before they dry out, so thank you again for saving me so much money! You are the only channel I follow that does this!

Yeah I think Colourpop screwed up big time bc the shade lashes is absolutely a pressed glitter which it's not marked as not safe for the eye area but yet the shade grasslands is which only has some small particles of glitter...super confused!?!?!

Colourpop messed up big time because if you look at the ingredients on the colourpop website lashes has a not intended for use in the immediate eye area and grassland does not.

Thanks for the comparison with brown sugar! I love that pallet and in photos they looked so similar I wasn’t sure if it really was that different. Turns out, it’s not. The matters are almost identical!

Beyond love the packaging and excited to see this because I didn't get to purchase Brown Sugar. I do already own California Love and Good as Gold, so i cant justify the pallette. I agree with you on the blushes tho. Love a good nude/ brown toned blush! I have fair skin so I could prolly use them as glowy bronzers!

Just a heads up - on the website the shade 'lashes' has a * next to it and it states it's a pressed glitter. I think they got the eye safety warnings mixed up on the actual packaging.

I bought the eyeshadow palette, all 3 lip sticks, and the Trippin blush to use as a bronzer. They were on sale too. This collection is beautiful for woc/poc. I'm obsessed. I didn't get the coconut palette, and I'm so glad I didn't because this is much better for me.

Thanks for keeping up with Colourpop train as always! ❤️ I’m a bit worried about the glitter on the blush. I had the mulan blush and whilst the colour is amazing.... I can see flecks of glitter in my cheek and I just don’t like it.
