Kinda sad that BENEATH THE TREES is over now. It was the book I always looked forward to the most when it came out. A perfect run from beginning to end. Will definetly read it again. Hoping for a future DLX edition with interesting extras.

BTTWNS has been the best book of 2024, and the crossover appeal to a new audience with the release of the collected trade, could be massive. I also enjoyed Boy Wonder this week as well as Usagi Yojimbo: The Crow which is excellent. Stan Sakai is a master and anyone not reading his books is missing out on some of the best comics coming out today.

I actually did read Usagi as well and for got to put it in my review pile!! It's a very consistent series for sure and Stan's art is so charming

How does your scoring system work? You say books are cool but then give them 2.5? Great videos, cheers

I grade them against each other and they can't overlap. I think we all do it like this without knowing it. Read 15 comics and line them up by how much you enjoyed them. You'll find that even the bottom half you liked but you might not actually recommend them to others.
