Most Novembers is still a great month to ride the trails. Please keep that in mind. I get lonely building trails by myself.

It’s hard to tell from the video, but from my point of view it looks like if you mounded dirt before your big rock roll it would make the point on top of the rock roll further away from the chain ring. Mounding it up starting a couple feet before the roll will make it bigger and smoother rather then smaller and nd having to chip it out

I think I'm going to a combination of knocking of a bit of the rock and adding some more dirt. It's pretty insane in person 😳. But yeah, I think I could do just dirt and make it work

Another freakin great video. I think you need a trail called (Hazy) IPA...
@mtbingadventures1551Күн бұрын
Thank you. True, Hazys are responsible for millions of the calories needed to build many of these trails. The least I could do is dedicate a trail to that very fine beverage. 🙂

That “playground” looks sick! Would love to trail build with you, but I’m 2,200 miles away. FYI - walking around with the camera close to the ground makes it hard to see what you’re talking about.

Thanks, it's too bad you're so far away. All the builders seem to be out of my immediate area. 😆 I noticed my video skills need to get better. It's like I'm not coordinated enough to walk and film. 🤣Thanks for letting me know. I'll get better at that.

That roller/drop at the 5 minute mark looks insane 😱.
@mtbingadventures155118 сағат бұрын
It is really insane 😳. No one has ridden it yet. I hope to tweak it a bit more so I can ride it.

That awkward rock drop looks like a taste of East Coast riding out West. Definitely hard to judge from video on whether or not I'd do it. So much depends on the run up and roll out. That whole trail looks so fun to ride. Hope to get out there within a year or so.

That would be great. I would love to have you out. If I'm around, I can show you the rock roll location. I think I'm close to riding it soon.

What! That's one the property? Call Red Bull!

It's not on the property, but it's very close to Everstoke. Walking distance close

Nice work! How do you and Brian split the work out there. Seems like you are the trail builder and he does the infrastructures.
@mtbingadventures155114 сағат бұрын
Yes, for the most part, I build all the trails, and he works a lot more on infrastructure for the time being. It just kinda worked out like that. I used to be an HVAC contractor and didn't really want to build much infrastructure stuff. Got really burnt out on running pipelines and electrical. I love digging and designing trails. Brian has been absolutely fascinated with learning how to build stuff, and he's really good at it. It's been working perfectly for us so far. We have had to bounce around a bit, of course, and I believe Brian will want to do some trail building as well once things get a bit further a long

I don't think your wife will be happy if you marry that dirt,Aaron. 🤣 Love that view from the top! Was this pre or post bomb cyclone storm?
@mtbingadventures1551Күн бұрын
Shhhh... The dirt is my mistress. Don't tell my wife. 🤣 This video was filmed before the last wave of rain. Still to this day, I do believe there is no snow at the property, though. I'll be back up there after Thanksgiving to find out
