How much could this be down to it just being a different batch? I had the first 2 batches releases of Absolu and just from those 2 one was much darker and richer, more like Sauvage Elixir in some aspects. Then the other batch had a much fresher opening, more juicy and generally a more transparent scent profile in comparison to the other batch.

@@FragranceDOUD you said the triple aged batch was richer. My point was, there have only been 2 different batches total of the original Absolu. I have both of them and already in only those 2 batches there is quite a different between both bottles. One is darker richer and the other is more fresh and juicy. Longevity on both is also different. Without a bigger sample size it would be hard to know if this triple aged batch is actually better or if its just more batch variation.

Do you know if the version Venba is selling now is the Triple or the previous one? Most of the discounters mention nothing about the actual batch. I confirmed with my Saks Rep that the current bottles Saks has are triple, but I don’t want to pay $565 for this sucker.

It is definitely different! I have both , just got the triple aged today and it’s definitely richer,smoother and performs better.I had 3 of my friends try it out as well and they all agreed it’s definitely different . Is not a huge difference but if I’d have to choose, I’d go with the triple aged . It’s better and it’s cheaper than what people originally paid. Honestly,I can see that pissing people off enough to say … “Oh it’s the same thing”, Haha sorry it’s not! Bottom line, it had time to macerate/Age in a large quantity/batch all together,which is different than if it aged in a small bottle.

Creed is officially releasing the triple aged batch in October the guy I get this from works with someone from creed and got them early. It’s been knows across the fragcomm the last month or so as well as 6 total creed releases. Second Venba fragrance has creed Absolu Aventus for $299 actually now I posted it last night

There is also another 3-4 creeds coming out later this year into next. Not sure if ur new but he’s not gonna do an actual review on something he’s not 100% sure about
