The stuff that's in our water is crazy. Microplastics and all the hormones and drugs excreted into our sewer systems. Even 30 years ago, my friend had trouble concieving, went to a fertility specialist and he said that the majority of women had PCP;s in their ovaries. I live by Lake Ontario, and he said the hundred mile radius around the Great Lakes, mostly Ontario, Erie and Michigan there's an increase in cancers, infertily etc.

It's also bc of endocrine distruptors like deodorants, make up products, perfumes, chlorine, fluoride and according to new research even toilet paper as it's bleached

It's crazy how few people talk about this. It's as if we are OK with it. I saw a crab a few months ago using a coke can as a shell. Creatures are adapting to this new environment of pollution and it's sad. Unhealthy. Thanks for watching and please share this video.

This is such an important subject to bring to people's attention. Plastics are everywhere as you said and people don't realize how bad they are for our health. I have been avoiding them in bottles, processed foods etc for years but only recently started replacing my manmade fiber clothes with clothes made from natural materials. Personally, I like organic cotton better than nonorganic as it's my understanding cotton is sprayed heavily with glyphosate. Xenoestrogen not good. Microbiome specialist Mary Ruddick has a great blog on why polyester yoga pants (which most are) not a good idea.

@Dr. Anil Rajani -THANK YOU for alerting us to this health issue. However, your vlogpost title is somewhat misleading... other than informing us we are microplastics piñatas and how to avoid plastics, i missed the part where you explain how to "rid them from your body"!! Please do a follow-up "how-to" video explaining if there is indeed a way to do so🙏🏻🙏🏻

Excellent advice, Dr. Rajani - thank you! I love your tip on clothing. I think undergarments are important and if you can get as close to 100% cotton as possible, that's great! There's usually 5% spandex added. But, there are some small animal studies saying that some of these synthetic fibers can impact reproductive health. Thanks for shedding light on this.

Great advice as always. Plastic is difficult to avoid. It's everywhere. Cotton and wool clothing is often expensive - I think all most of us can do is to be aware and filter and avoid as much as we can. Is there a way to detox all that plastic out of our bodies and would it help those in particular already diagnosed with dementia?

I called Purina two weeks ago to ask why Tidy Cat litter no longer worked (no odor control or clumping). Customer service told me 25% of the clay litter has been replaced with recycled pulverized plastic! I don’t want my kitties exposed to that or the particles floating through the air in my home. Hydrogen water, 💦 from what I hear, will detox plastics. You can install an under sink machine (expensive), use the affordable bottles that turn them into hydrogen water (I haven’t tried but this is what my chiropractor does), or, add a tablet to your water (Mer cola has them). 🩵🩵🩵 My chiropractor’s wife is always drinking from those hydrogen bottle filters, and she says it really helps with her brain fog.

Dr Rajani, I have been on HRT bio identical for 20 years. I am 68. I was just diagnosed with breast cancer, most likely related to the HRT. My question is this: I'm going to go through a lot over the next few months and I have to obviously stop HRT And then take hormone suppression medication. My skin is pretty damn good for 68 year old but now I fear it is going to go down the tubes. I know I have bigger fish to fry. Don't worry about that I'm handling it but I'd like to know if there's something I can do to not lose the benefits of the estrogen I've used for so long internally, and not age rapidly. Thanks.

Micro-plastic is in nylon which most our tooth brush brushes are made of. Glad you did this video because l just went down a rabbit hole about cyanide, found out that one of the chemicals in some plastics are cyanide. Small amounts of Cyanide can help produce pneumonia, which at the moment my whole family has. I told them l think we're slowly poisoning ourself drinking the bottle water. We're kind of like "drinking the koolade", so to speak. Unfortunately, the only water around here is bottled, so we're having to drink it. It’s like l just give up. I've had pneumonia for a month now, my Mom longer and my daughter and her husband two weeks. It's not getting any better. We could have Covid too, didn't get tested for it but my Mom went to the hospital twice and was told it was pneumonia. Nothing seems to get the mucus out of our lungs. My poor Mom is 87 and can't blow her nose because about 2 months ago her nose started bleeding to where she had to be hospitalized because they couldn't stop the bleeding and because it was in a bad place they couldn't cauterize it.
