I mean I guess they were basically trying to be a TI but they did not defend 12 at all. They didn't really claim admirer until like 5 seconds before the vote was over, and even then they were not nearly as vocal as they should have been.

i think main fault was the trickster, which's only role is to find evil and die with them/shoot them. To not trick anything day1 while having infinite tricks is just always wrong. Its the same as BGs that self day1... you technically can do so, but its 99% of times the wrong play to do cause dying/ taking out an evil+yourself is usually more worth than you surviving randomly d1. Cause the Admirer can absolutely just propose to non speaking people to get into a toxic relationship and out them via deathnote / a day later, in the end thats a 1f1 with another evil. But since trickster just decided to not go anywhere d1 he kinda just dug both peoples grave, no matter what the admirer said (cause they literally said they proposed to them etc.)

I had a game exactly like the first one, I was a Lookout who confirmed someone as Famine when Famine and Death popped out, then the Prosecutor prosd the confirmed Famine when we had enough info to find Death…there were like 6 people left and it would’ve been a 1f1 between Pros and Death

It's a valid strategy, Death only needs to survive one day to win so throwing your teammate under the bus to secure a win for them makes perfect sense. I did that with my pestilence teammate one time when I was death.

Yea ive had games where i outed myself as coven (via "mistake" of will or something not obvious) so our HM could get hexbomb, its a valid thing to do to bus people at the time just so the chance doesnt exist that people get hung that will end the game.

I think I just thought of the most nightmare scenario (for non-apocalypse). Imagine if you will... You're a random townie, regardless of your role. You don't know it, but you were given bread on Nights 1, 2 or 3. Day 4 begins, "FAMINE AND PESTILIENCE HAVE APPEARED!" ...Town is passive. But everyone chooses to say home and let the Famine Murder happen, perhaps after the numbers have been culled, finding Famine will be easy enough, right...? And if nobody visits, Pest's only gonna kill one. If its a 2v2 at that point, and one of the non-apocs is Pros, you have a chance.... Right? Day 5 begins. Its you and four others. That's odd, it should be four living bodies total, Pestilence certainly would have killed someone with bread, right...? RIGHT....!?!? WAR AND DEATH HAVE APPEARED. Suddenly it hits you: This was a four apocalypse game. Baker gave you bread... And when the Famine murder happened, Pestilence killed one of the three Breads, while Berserker killed the second to become War. And Death was just in the background, laughing as he absorbed the souls... All you can do now is be the final sacrifice to the coming apocalypse.

i was thinking, with the way soul collector is, and how many people DC night 1, you could make an exe play. If someone disconnects n1 you could just say you were Lookout and that person must be soul collector because they visited a disconnected player.

While that would have worked at one point, Soul Collector got buffed a while back by making its visits Astral - meaning that it can't get seen by a LO or tracked by a Tracker. The main point of said buff was making it so the Soul Collector doesn't get rampaged if their target is attacked by a WW or Bloodust SK, and are able to collect the soul of the person being attacked by a Bers with rampage without dying to the Bers (this is a very rare situation to have happen, but a Tavern Keeper, Poisoner, Pirate or Jailor can cause this by making the Soul Collector miss collecting a soul off a prior Bers kill).

Thinking on it, I think in the Death game, the Exe just chose a fast death for the town over a slightly slower one, because between famine and berserker, even if the town lynched you, there should still be an apocalypse majority the next day. And there will reads like their targets kept getting killed before they could push them.

I'll say 12 takes the most blame here. Not tricking N1 just makes no sense at all, and since he was caught by Sheriff, there's no real reason to think he was innocent other than being dumb. Admirer claiming Vet was just weird, could have fake claim TK but giving out a direct role makes him sus and possibly coven due to not fearing ritualist. I know he wanted to avoid getting attacked but don't think that was the right way.

It is better to lie as a townie and say you did something and didn't do it. Then to have a more sus looking will for failure to do it. This also works as a coven check since anyone pushing you on that info later might not be town since coven will notice the fake info more than town. I.E. if you are tavern and didn't RB anyone, claim to have RB'D the dead guy, if a LO/Tracker outs this as false. Claim the truth, and say you made a mistake, with adding that claiming you did something was to make your will less sus to town since doing nothing would appear much worse.
