They wont. T17 have absolutely zero experience with games like HLL and they arent seriously commited to making the game better either. They will do just enough to make it seem like they really care but really they just want money ( which is why the only new content we get is paid skins DLCs ). S44 is far superior and with this quality of updates from T17, its only a matter of time before HLL gets left in the mud ( which it has been stuck in for the past 2 years already anyway )

I’m really excited for this. I’m such a fan of the work Mercury Arts has done on Squad 44. It’s so fun and immersive to play this game these days, and I’ve been playing since 2018. And to think they’re all people who work full time jobs, but work on S44 in their spare bloody time. That’s passion. And they still manage to get more done than a lot of full time studios do. It’s insane. Cheers for the coverage, Alpine.

Iwo Jima was black sand and desolate from all the books I’ve read, sure there was some vegetation but it wasn’t green like that

There is greenery it’s not a barren island. Suprising amount of color if you ever get to see it you’d be surprised

Funny because all the books I've read, many from marines that did battle there say Iwo Jima was a DESOLATE WASTELAND DEVOID OF ANY VEGETATION OTHER THAN BURNED OUT TREES Im sure the devs are right though😂 Regardless ill play and enjoy.​@alexandre4466

Yup. My first thought as well. Iwo was a sulfurous vocanic speck in the ocean. The beaches were black volcanic sand and there was absolutely no vegetation. Plenty of period photos and combat camera footage confirm this. If the Devs can't get that right...

There was vegetation, the Japs wouldn’t have used it without cover, and you can’t make tunnels in ash

@@nl4770 Burned out trees would have been alive once, don´t you think? And if there were trees then it´s reasonable to asume that there were other plants aswell. It might have been desolate after all the Shelling and Fighting.
