My best guess is that it was an ancient power plant, or somehow harnessed some kind of energy. This is why they used granite. Not just for lights and basic electricity needs, but for something far more mind-blowing. Having to do with how it was even constructed in the first place. And if we knew exactly what the capstone was made out of, we would likely be able to figure it out. My best guess is it has to do with sound/vibration. It sure as hell wasn't simply a tomb. Lincoln cathedral in Egnland exceeded the height of the Great Pyramid of Giza centuries before the Eiffel tower was built. #3. The percentage of granite in the overall masonry of the pyramid is minimal, less than 2%. #4. The weight of granite isn't that different from the heaviest varieties of limestone like the fine white limestone from Tura used to cover the pyramids. At most the weight difference is about 1.86x that of the lightest limestone - so when combined with the drastically smaller quantity of granite used the weight wasn't really that much of an issue when there were larger limestone blocks in the pyramid.

The obelisk in Washington D.C. was not found there 18:24 - 18:27 is not an ancient obelisk. It was constructed piecemeal not by quarrying 1 gigantic piece of granite. It is also constructed with three different kinds of stone; blue gneiss, marble, granite and iron rebar reinforcement on the inside. It would not work in concert with other ancient obelisks and pyramids as transmitters for electricity. But the rest of it is a pretty good theory (it is more than a theory I believe). And the disappearance of the copper wire is proof of that. I also read somewhere of Napoleon removing a bunch of copper piping and other things from the pyramids while he was in Egypt as well as the damage inflicted upon these ancient structures by his Army. Great video. A lot of the more modern scholarship being done in Egypt is incredible and you are definitely on the right path. Even in a desert, its a good idea to have a drainage system in case there is rain. To keep the interior dry. It should not be a surprise that the pyramid has a place for water to go. But power generator, no. Granite was only used around the chambers and sloped gallery as it was strong and it would not cave in there. There could be a second hidden gallery that was used to carry the huge granite beams and rafters up above the king's chamber. Once that was done it was no longer needed. And it was covered.

There's absolutely no way this there was a civilised human race that many thousands of years ago that built all that infrastructure with such precision and with purpose in mind of conducting electricity and so much more! Also millions of tonnes of sand stone moved over a distance of 800km is to hard to fathom and impossible even over a 20 year period not happening!

During earthquakes underground structures are the safest place you can be because they move entirely with the crust. thats why there is no damage in the chambers underneath the ground level.
