I like the plain black. The mirrors go with your lights that way. Your large painting looks like it is a big "distressed" piece and the mirrors might make too much "distressing " in one area. That's my 2 cents worth but I'm not a designer by any stretch of the imagination. lol

In the description box, she has the video of the puck hack linked. It's the 5th heart labeled "diy pendant lighting hack" and it's the 5th tip in the video. The puck lights don't come with the sconces, you can buy any sconce you like and buy a set of puck lights and combine the two so you don't have to pay an electrician to hardwire them.

We just used an old mirror closet door, took the mirror portion out, and built a custom wood frame for it. Spent $40 on the total project and now have a 9' tall leaning mirror and get tons of compliments on the thing. I looked up how much mirrors this size go online and they are usually around a few hundred dollars. Love the puck light fixture idea. May need to steal that for the future!

That hack for the sconces. I li e in a rental apt and I really needed some nicer lighting in the entryway. No receptacles. The remote lighting I liked was just too outside of my budget. So gave up on the idea, until I saw this video. Wow!!! What a great idea!!! I can manage it. Thank you so much for your video. My two cents re the mirrors is they look great matte black. Very classy. And, thanks for the tip re the roll back on price. I want to gussy up my bifold closet doors with them, but at full price did not want to spring for it. But with the roll back. Oh, yeah, baby!!! Hi Kathryn! I loved this idea! I have an empty wall in the dining area and this was perfect. I used four of the mirrors side by side. I could only find black so I painted them an off white to go with the wall. It was exactly what the room needed! Thanks! I would upload a photo but I didn’t see how. You have to let the glue cure for an hour before adding the mirror or anything you are hanging. Also, pay attention the the weight it’s good for on the pack you are buying

I love this mirror idea - especially the mini mirror one! I have always appreciated how mirrors 'open up' a space and make a room feel lighter. I'd never thought about mounting a bunch of smaller ones and making my own shapes - the big ones are so expensive to buy. Thanks!
