I question how multiple LA police chiefs didn't notice this arrangement and question it. Everything Hefner did seems like it was calculated to protect him from potential prosecution. He must have spent a lot of time thinking of ways to get over on women and an equal amount of time thinking of ways to cover his tracks. It doesn't seem like he should have been able to hire so many LA cops for "security" at his mansion. He probably paid the cops a very high hourly rate to gain their loyalty. I question how multiple LA police chiefs didn't notice this arrangement and question it. Everything Hefner did seems like it was calculated to protect him from potential prosecution. He must have spent a lot of time thinking of ways to get over on women and an equal amount of time thinking of ways to cover his tracks. There is no other explanation for having cameras in every room to record the movements and conversations of everyone in the house. Hefner kind of reminds of former President Blowhard with all the forced non-disclosures he ALWAYS makes new employees sign. He knows in advance he is planning to do a lot of unethical crap.
