Some tire shops do actually use torque specific extensions for torque specs on their air impact drivers. But a lot of places don't bother to use them. The more rigid the extension is the higher the torque. Be less rigid have a lower torque specs. I believe they come in a set of 6 or more.

You meant lug nuts, correct? The lug nut is the female part that screws onto the threaded male part called the lug. Some vehicles actually do use lugs that screw into the wheel mounting plate on the axle. In that case it would be driving the lugs back in. 😁😉🙄

A good way to put lug nuts on is to get a piece of plastic or zip lock bag to cover the socket on your impact or ratchet to protect the wheel from paint chipping

She knows all the wrenchs and I'm pretty sure that she knows how to get off the side of the road if something would happen to her car. I always want her to have something fairly new although I drive an 04 Pontiac p.o.s. Grand Am 2.2 ecotec...I watched you install a timing chain on a 4cylinder engine and that's the only worry I have with my 200,000 mile car lol...

I have a 2012 impala with 67 k miles.2 issues.The car gives gas then cuts it then gives it then cuts it like 4 times then stops doing it in 1st gear.Also my alignment is messed up for the 3rd time this year.I have only put 2200 miles on the car since the alignment.What’s causing it to get out of alignment and I avoid pot holes and sewer holes the best I can

How has the coating on those lug nuts held up are they rusting out yet ? I’ve tried so many aftermarket lug nuts over the years and it feels like every time you try b take them on or off they chip the coating and they start rusting and look terrible

Yup to tell customer's. If yu buy a lock wheel lug nut . . Make sure you buy more than one key . So yu won't be f$*$*d finding another one and can't.. than yu have to cut it off making it more time consuming. When it would be having a normal lug nut. . But just saying. . More keys is better than no keys

I can't believe some people actually torque lug nuts! If that was necessary they would supply a torque wrench with the car instead of the crappy little lug wrench!!! 😁😃😆🙄 I have used a cross bar wrench for my 65 + years of life and never had one come loose. 😃😁😀🙄
