Nice video with a lot of information. I think I will choose one of the Ping drivers, because of it's forgiveness ;)

Thank you! What is in your bag now, and are you looking to upgrade this year?

I would love to test a Ping driver, just to feel the weight. However, i would not easily leave my current Taylormade RAZR HAWK behind because that one just REALLY does the job for me 😀
@golfclubcoach Жыл бұрын
Isn't the RAZR Hawk by Callaway? For sure a good driver, but getting on in years. I think you will definitely see improvements in distance and dispersion when testing it against one of the newer models. Especially on miss hits.

New subscriber, your content is very informative, please test the new tour edge c-723 driver !!

Welcome to the club! I have seen the new Tour Edge and it does indeed look very good. It's not easy to get a hold of Tour Edge gear where I am located, but I'll review it if I can get my hands on it.

hi great review... i am a 58 year old ... 5'7 tall...swing speed 88-94 and hit a fairly straight high ball...but high spin......i play it at 44 1/2 in regular flex shaft TENSEI blue 55.....its a PXG GEN 5 XF Driver 10.5 degrees..........i am looking for less spin and distance plus forgiveness ( aren't we all LOL ) would like some of your suggestions in shafts plus heads.... i am leaning towards TSR2 , Stealth 2 , Ping G430.....should i try others too ? thx ....cheers from Canada
@golfclubcoach Жыл бұрын
Thank you sir! Your current Tensei Blue in regular is a shaft with a pretty soft tip section. To reduce spin, you could try a shaft that has a bit of a firmer tip like for example a HZRDS or a Tour shaft from Ping. I also think that with your speed, you can get away with a Stiff flex shaft in most stock offerings. Just make sure you don't sacrifice in feel or timing. Alternatively you could try a lower lofted head, but my guess is 10,5 is good. Also, be careful what you wish for in terms of less spin. You didn't list your spin numbers, but anything between 2500 and 3000 is good. Hunting for below 2500 is probably going to hurt your dispersion, and since your already hitting it straight, we don't want to lose that. The heads you mentioned are all good options, and if you're not opposed to Callaway, I would add the Paradym to the test. Hope this helps and good luck in the hunt!

Paradym TD but the Mizuno is also one I am looking forward to.
@golfclubcoach Жыл бұрын
Surely one of them will work for you. I am still pretty happy with my Epic Speed Triple Diamond, but the Paradym sure looks good!
